Reunion

KROSS GROUP...

Jayden walked into his office. His mood lighter than yesterday. He had some unfinished business and they were piling up. He called his secretary into his office.

"Arrange the documents in order of importance"

"Okay Sir". The secretary collected all the documents from his desk.

He was about to sip on his morning coffee when he's phone rang. The voice he wished he could erase from his memories. That voice that hunted him for years.

"Hello"

"I'll be at the hospital by 11 am. Let's get this over with and you haven't wired the money yet" The woman spoke from the other end of the line.

"Okay, I didn't get your text" he rubbed his temples

"I'll send it now. Wire the money before I get there" she demanded.

He ended the call and looked at his wrist watch. It was 9:30 am already, he decided to leave the office by 10:30 am. He had to be productive .

KING HOTEL...

Alex and Sophie sat at the open space in the hotel enjoying their breakfast. A hot chocolate drink with toasts, pancakes and sausages.

"I never knew toast could taste this good" Alex said as he bit into his toast smeared with avocado butter

"Doesn't all of them taste the same?" Sophie scoffed.

Alex looked at her and shook his head "I bet you don't know how to even brew tea, so how would you know the difference"

"What? who said-" she was about to retort when he raised his hand to keep her from talking.

"You are with your boss right now, I don't expect you to talk back at me" he told her off.

"I knew you brought me here to bully me" she got up and stomped her feet.

He smiled and urged her "Let's go Sophie". The crew have set up the place already.

She seemed a little hesitant to go with him and he noticed "Scared?"

"No it's not that, but I'm not sure if I'm good enough, I mean it's a very big project imagine if I do something wrong" she was fidgeting.

He held her hands in his and looked into her eyes

"Do you know how you look when you hold a camera in front you? You look like you are in a whole different world and you don't look like the little kitten I know but some badass pro. You've got it in you Sophie, don't ever doubt yourself" he encouraged her.

She smiled at him. This was what she loved about him. He was always like this supporting all her crazy ideas and encouraged her to go for them. "Thank you Alex" she smiled feeling more confident.

CITY HOSPITAL...

Steady footsteps could be heard from the hallway. As the door opened. She stepped inside the room. She didn't change much. She appeared just as he remembered her.

The striking resemblance they shared, he got his blue eyes from her and his midnight hair. She was still looking beautiful as ever, she wore a chiffon gown and sunglasses covering most of her face.

"You are here already" she spoke to him calmly

"He's awake but refuses to open his eyes or talk to anybody. You can go over to him" he directed her not wanting to engage In any conversation apart from the business they had to take care of.

The woman walked up to the man and called him

"Sebastian" she sat on the bed, touching his face " I'm here. It's me. It's Aurora".

His eyes opened immediately "Aurora?"

"Yes it's me"

"Ahh Aurora, where have you been?" he asked her trying to sit up. "Ive missed you so much, I'm sorry, it wasn't intentional I promise. It was a mistake" Sebastian cried

"Hush now. It's okay. You need your medicine and food I'll be staying with you for a while but you have to listen to me okay?"

"Yes, yes I will"

After the little reunion in the hospital room, the doctors checked up on him and gave him his drugs which made him to sleep.

Jayden walked out of the room after seeing his father sound asleep. He was walking towards his car when she appeared in front of him.

"You've grown much than the last time I saw you"

"That's because it has been a long time" deadpanned Jayden

"Excuse me, I've got work" he added.

"You are still going to be rude to me. You should be grateful I allowed you to live" she looked at him with disgust

He turned around to face her with an amused smile " You were paid to let me live. It's the same thing now I pay you too for his sake and even in the past too you received your money".

"How dare you talk to me like that Jayden when you're nothing but a mistake who ruined my life" She flared at him

"I ruined your life? I gave you a free ticket to wealth"

"At least you are not totally useless then" she scoffed and walked away.

He got into his car and closed his eyes. He shouldn't drive now he was not in a good mood. He knew meeting her today won't do any good for him. "His mother" he thought .

He let out a cold laugh thinking about it she was his mother after all and there was nothing he could do about it.

Back at the office, Adella got a message from Jackie

"I've secured a spot for you. Find a suitable name and come so we'll do your make over"

Her heart was pounding. She didn't know what to expect. She never thought of loosing her virginity in this way, but for her grandma's sake she was willing to do anything.

Tears slipped down her cheeks as she typed "Thank you, will be there after work".

CLUB ECLIPSE...

The manager walked into the office. Kyle was in deep thought. He was thinking of a Jackie again and also how to fool his friend Jayden. He knew he was not stupid but hell he'd do anything to see Jackie again.

"Jayden better understand" he said to himself.

The manager cleared his throat to get his attention "Sir the girls for the new proposal are coming in today" He handed the documents containing every single details about them.

"Tell the girl from Australia to not come in today"

"But sir, I've sent the message already to Mr Kross" The manager sounded worried, regretting if he should have asked his boss first.

"That's good. I have someone in mind for him" Kyle reassured him.

He knew JK would be angry when he finds out but what he didn't know was fate was also giving him a chance to get what he lost years back.

Jk received the text and bit his lips "It's today" he sighed .

Yeah he was in need of some release. He was drained mentally, emotionally and even physically.

He turned his car around and headed to Kyle's club.
