Hello, Kenzo

Falling Deeper

Standing five feet tall and six inches maybe, with a skin as white as snow and the softest, sweetest baby brown eyes I had ever seen on anyone, Kate could take anyone's breath with just a swift stroke of her captivating beauty. Her hair fell in soft waves to her shoulders in the color of honey, tied by an elastic band in a ponytail, and framed her face perfectly. She smiled brightly, a dazzling smile that made me feel like I was being bathed in sunshine, but it was also very sad and lonely. Capturing everyone in her presence.

"KENZO!" Kate almost jumped to Kenzo as she came closer to us, hugging him as if she were crying in so much delight. "Have you seen my message?"

So she was Kate, indeed!

Argh! What a deja vu!

"Kate," Kenzo hugged her back, caressing her back passionately as if he missed her too.

I could feel my stomach ache from the sight!

"How are you? I missed you!" Kate asked, still clinging onto Kenzo.

"I'm very much fine," Kenzo smiled and broke from their hug.

"That is nice! So, how long are you going to stay here?" Kate asked again, slowly taking Kenzo's hand in for a tight grip.

What the? Really?

"I..." I almost cut in when Kenzo pulled his hand from her and grabbed my hand instead.

I took a deep gulp and smiled, flustered.

I felt like winning this time!

"We are leaving two days from now. Beside school, my girlfriend needs to attend her work," Kenzo calmly answered.

My heart skipped in delight when I saw him stand firm in front of me.

"Oh, that is sad! Well, my father wanted your presence, so can you please come with me?" Kate asked hopefully.

Kenzo looked at me before shifting his gaze to his father.

"Ok, let's go," Kenzo said, letting go of my hand.

Wow! For a moment I immediately lost all the smiles in my face. I am prepared for this. As long as he chose me, I wouldn't doubt his feelings for me. As long as he wouldn't ask me to stop, I would stay.

"Don't tire yourself out, ok?" Kenzo kissed me on the lips in front of everyone, which made everyone gasp and cheer on us. "I'll be back, so don't dare try hard to look beautiful to anybody while I'm away!"

Still, my jaw dropped in shock as I watched him walk away. My heart was racing! I could feel my cheeks blushing profusely as my eyes followed his broad form. When he reached the other end of the field, he turned around again, a slight smirk lingering on his lips, and winked at me. It was so subtle, I could almost believe it was only an illusion, but still, a warm feeling spread on my entire body, and my mind was filled with the thought of him, all because he called me beautiful! Maybe he saw me checking out Kate!

That was embarrassing, but I couldn't help comparing myself to others because I am very aware that there are so many ladies out there who are perfect for Kenzo.

"Kate is Kenzo's first love," Kenzo's mother interrupted me from my thoughts, handing over my hat. "Let's get going so we can get some rest before taking a bath in the river to clean up for the night."

I was lost all afternoon until Kenzo's father announced that everyone should rest up already. Three hours had passed since Kenzo left, and my mind wouldn't stop thinking about whether to stay or not. I had to save something for myself, in case I came into a hopeless fight again.

"Don't worry about Kate that much; Kate doesn't want Kenzo. She just likes to play on his feelings, taking it as an advantage for her to make Kenzo do the things she demands!" Keera appeared from my side, looking annoyed as much.

"You look happy when you see her?" I asked in confusion.

"Because we had to! Or else, this farm would be taken from us and we would all end up dead of starvation!" she huffed angrily, crossing her arms.

I blinked in surprise.

"What is it about this farm and taking it away from all of you?" I tried to sound curious, but in truth I knew it was none of my business.

Keera shrugged off her arms and gave me a cold smile. "I am not really aware of the whole story, but what I heard was that Kate's father, after being elected as this town's mayor, wanted to buy lands to construct his buildings for economic enterprises, but my father disagreed; unfortunately, my mother fell sick, so father had to put the land in mortgage to the Ilominus, Kate's family; in return, my family and everyone working here have to give twenty percent of our harvest to them; and since our oldest sister and Kenzo were able to study, they represent us to the Ilominus to negotiate."

I could feel every bit of resentment with Keera, but about money and debts, there was nothing to be done but to pay.

A group of children came rushing behind us, passing us by, and excitedly jumped to the crystal water of the big river we reached without me noticing our way here.

"THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!" I gasped in awe as I roamed my eyes with the view of this river and the amazing scenery around it. A clear green pool of water was flowing peacefully beside us; it was sparkling and glistening under the clear sky before dusk. It seemed to glow so beautifully, and its depth was hypnotic yet peaceful.

When you look closely enough at it, you notice a bunch of fish swimming inside of it, which makes it mesmerizing.

The children splashed as everyone who worked on the field laid down on the cool grounds under the shade of tall trees to rest. The air was hot and thick and smelled so fresh and pleasant, soothing our exhausted bodies.

"Rest up, and we will take a bath after," Kenzo's mother called to us while she settled beside Kenzo's father, resting beside the trunk of the huge tree.

"Come, let me rest on your thigh; I know you won't dare lie down here on the dirt!" Keera said frankly, making me smile at how straightforward she is.

"Ok,"

And as soon as we hit the cool ground, my eyes shut down immediately. I never imagined I could be this tired, itchy, and dirty! I groaned and stretched myself, letting out a loud yawn.

There is no denying that I was enjoying the experience here! Even if I was tired, the experience itself was quite spectacular. I couldn't wait for the day to come; I had to live these days forever.

I lost track of time, and when I tried to cuddle Keera, I felt her body grow larger and bulkier.

"Wake up, Princess!" Kenzo's voice soothed my ears, chuckling softly behind my neck.

"Oh no!" I shot up in panic and saw that it was indeed dark already. "Ah! I did not get to take a bath!"

"Oh, you will, with me!"

And before I could totally snap back to my senses, Kenzo carried me to the river and sat me down on one of the rocks by the river bank. He stripped off my clothes slowly, giving me time to process and think about what was happening.

I was sitting naked on a rock and facing the large open river with water rushing to the bottom of the small waterfall. The moon reflected beautifully on the river water, and the sky was full of stars, twinkling brightly.

This place is absolutely breathtaking.

"KENZO!" I yelled as I felt the cold rush to my naked body.

"Hey, keep it down! You wouldn't want people to envy our sweet time!" He smiled and started taking off his clothes.

"Kenzo, are you sure this is a good idea? Isn't someone coming here to see us?"

"It's ok, I told them not to interrupt us!" He smiled devilishly. "Now, let's take a bath!"

As he said that, lights started to light up the surrounding area with LED lights, just enough to escalate the mood of the evening.

"You owe me explanations!"

"Yes, I deserved to be punished!" Kenzo walked slowly to me, and I could not help but fall for him deeper.
