The sound of the newly released heel collection created a steady echo along the tiled floor of the mall where Narih entered and walked briskly, flaunting her long red coat, covering up the thin black dress underneath. Her thin, sexy red lips, curved into a self-satisfied smirk as she looked down at all the eyes upon her, the men looking up with lustful eyes and women looking away quickly, thought it was only natural that people would be curious about her, especially since she looked like something from a magazine.
Oh ghad! Thank you for our genes! It was top-notch!
It was late afternoon, and the temperature outside the store had dropped to almost thirty degrees. She could have been sweating, but instead she just looked cool, nailing the billionaire look I specifically chose for her.
"You are nailing it!" I couldn't contain the excitement and pride in my voice as I followed Narih into the mall, talking through the earpiece we decided to have for communication.
"Really? I am dying!" Narih gasped into a careful whisper before slightly stumbling with her heels, which she immediately fixed to stop ruining our act.
She laughed gently as we turned the corner and entered the clothing area. There, in an area filled with racks of colorful clothing, was the most popular shop on this particular level of the mall. The clothing selection there wasn't cheap by any means; a lot of designer clothes were displayed, but they were not for just anyone. This particular brand had a far-reaching reputation, and if you wanted a designer shirt, then your budget had to match its price.
"Touch the clothes! Examine them! As if you are meticulous about the details," I instructed her before gasping in delight when our prey entered the vicinity. "Kate has arrived! I repeat, Kate has arrived!"
"I know, I saw her! My hands were itching for a punch!" Narih hissed, straightening her body and forgetting she was pretending to be a highly respected person at the moment.
"Narih, focus!" I yelled in exasperation, rolling my eyes at Narih's ridiculous behavior but smiling nevertheless. She never let me forget how much of a tsundere she actually was, even though the both of us grew up together.
"Yeah! Yeah!"
"Ok, slowly make your way to her, and you know what to do! Do your magic!" I whispered as I fixed my eyes inside the boutique while crossing my arms over my chest, waiting for Narih to work her charm.
I watched Narih linger her sight on Kate while the b***h scanned the clothes rack by rack as two shop assistants tailed her like puppies wagging their tails to get sales.
Narih smirked before she took slow strides and went straight to the cashier. "Hi, I want to take all the clothes here."
My jaws dropped, and the cashier's jaw dropped!
"Wh...what? Miss? Am I hearing it correctly?" The cashier stuttered in surprise.
"Ah, yeah? Should I just go to the other store?" Narih smiled sweetly.
"But why?"
"What? Well, I liked your dresses!"
"Do you want to talk to the owner?"
Narih laughed slightly. "No need! I just like the clothes you have here, and these are not for me. These clothes are actually to be donated to the charity of women, teens, and kids who were victims of abuse."
The cashier's face turned in awe, as if an angel had landed before her.
NARIH!
"I think you should really talk to the owner!" The cashier smiled. "Hold on for a minute; we'll get you to her."
WHAT?!
I rushed beside the small corner of the boutique and growled a little in shock. I never knew I would be robbed this much in my entire life. I went back immediately and watched Narih hand over her credit card, which I just made last night.
"NARIH!" I gritted through my teeth.
"Relax! Stella! I got this!" Narih hissed, standing sophisticatedly at the counter while the cashier rushed to the two assistants tailing Kate, and I saw them gasp.
Kate was left by the two assistants, and I saw how her face crunched in so much disappointment.
Well, I guess Narih got it.
It didn't take long before an old woman came, smiling widely, assisted by the two assistants, and immediately hugged Narih.
I guess angelic faces do come in handy in this world!
"Hi, dear!" The old woman greeted. "I heard an angel drop by my store; I was waiting for that my whole life."
"Oh, that is too much!" Narih tapped the old lady's back.
"You know what? There may be good people in the world, but there are those who chose to be good. Some were good, but they had to be bad because the world is too harsh. So, I want you, my dear, to accept my offer that you take all of what you need to donate; I'll give them all for free!"
I fell into greater shock! Narih was more than nailing this!
She was rocking!
"Oh no, I cannot do that." Narih held the old woman's hand and caressed it like she had known the lady for a long time after breaking apart from their hug.
"You have to." The old lady held Narih's hand lovingly.
Narih slid her gaze at me and winked, with the sweetest smile she had in her entire life.
I couldn't help but rejoice seeing how lame Kate looked at the store when nobody was tending to her.
"You are nasty!" I giggled at my earpiece.
"I was just being good!" Narih whispered as she approached Kate.
"Ah no! Narih! No!"
"Oh yes!" Narih turned her war-mode smile and strode fast, approaching Kate. "Hi!"
Kate was shocked, but she fixed herself before accepting Narih's hand.
"Hi," Kate responded; her smile was like those who won the lottery.
"I'm sorry for taking all their attention and the clothes too; you can ask me to buy something for you. You really look so beautiful and young! You got a boyfriend? I want you to be my sister!"
Kate was ambushed; I can't be with Narih. She was too astounded; she was left speechless.
"Oh, I always liked a sister, but unfortunately I was not given one. I saw you, and I know I want to keep you!"
What was with Narih? I could not help but die in silent laughter.
"You see, I know I am freaking you out, but I just got here. I am actually new to this place as I travel around the world, and I was planning to establish a clothing brand, and I had thought of buying some shares from this GRIVA, but there was this issue going on about the top holder who lives here, and I personally came here to meet her, but I couldn't get hold of her. But then, when I finally got a chance to meet her, I was shocked that she was that w***e who took my best friend who I had loved for the whole time but ended up being dumped by her after playing him!"
I saw Narih shift her gaze to me, posing a peace sign after taking Kate's shoulder and walking her to the cash register.
Argh! I forgot how Narih could be so frank and crazy!
Tim had shared with us some colorful insights about Kate and her devious acts just to get attention and advantages for being better than others. She had this knack of doing the impossible and manipulating people into thinking that she was perfect, but she was cunning, and she would use everything she had to get her way. She would lie, cheat, and steal, whatever it took.
"Actually, I can get my father to help you. You see, that woman owes me too, big! She stole my boyfriend and was giving him all the money which I lack, so I accepted it, but then she was having a great time with my brother too! What a sneak! She is a liar, cunning, deceiving b***h!" Kate finally spoke up while checking on a dress.
I saw Narih look at me and nod.
"I never imagined that this coincidence would do me great favors! Well then, if you lack money, I have many of those. What would you say if we both do a deal and get everything from her?" Narih pushed to the limits.
Kate smiled. "You have me!"
