Once upon a time, there was a man who fell in love with the priestess of the sun god.
It was the first time for him. To him, falling in love was an unfamiliar feeling, and so he had so much of it.
The woman took notice and eventually he gained her favor and they became lovers.
The vain sun god, spiteful as he was, placed a curse on the man.
Now cursed to never set foot beneath the light of the sun lest he burns, the man was unable to visit nor even gaze upon the woman as
she worked during the day and disappeared during the night.
In a series of unfortunate events, the man lost his soul to the god of the underworld and earned the ire of his patron, the goddess of the hunt (again, getting cursed to never touch silver).
