The nurse obviously thought something was wrong as well. As she watched Kelly, her face went from nurse-with-the-rulebook, to concerned medical professional kicking it into high gear.
“Come with me.” the nurse instructed, her voice all business. “I know a doctor who will take a look at her, but if he doesn’t think it’s serious, we need the mother here before we do anything else, okay?”
