* Samantha's POV*

'It's becoming a habit..' Ava laughed when I walked in the apartment yet with another hoodie of his.

'Why don't you two just move in together...'

' John is dead...' was all I said and turned to my room .

' I'm so sorry Sam.. I know he meant a lot for you..'

' I just don't get it , why do good guys have to leave first..'

' Well.. one haven't.. If you want at least one guy in your life you should not push Damian so much.. he's very patient with you you know..'

' I know Ava.. Just that everything I went through , I just don't feel ready to open up..'

' But what if.. this is your one and only chance to experience something good in your life? As I understood from little details you said here and there , you already went through literal hell so why not give in at something good that was given to you after all that trouble..'

' You speak words of wisdom sometimes..' I said with a cringe.

' Just use the advise and don't laugh from my psychologists side going out at home..'

'Alright.. alright Ava, I tried to resist him for almost four months now and he just won't give up.. Maybe I will give him a chance..'

' Alpha , may I come in ?'

' Of course Mat, everything alright?'

' One of the bodies, the human friend of Samantha had this in it's mouth.' he said hiving me a sheet of fabric with something written on it.

-Did you miss me?

' Okay now.. who the f*ck is this Jane , I already heard her name for too many times and I need answers.'

' It meant something to Samantha.. Maybe she can answer that.' Mat suggested .

'Yeah.. right , I'll need a lot of luck in finding that out..'

' You can go , let me know if you'll find something else..' he nodded and left.

Oh goddess here goes nothing. Took my phone.

- Hey Samantha , could we meet , there is something we need to discuss.- sent.

- If it's not a date I'm in .-

- Alright, pick you up at nine?-

' Come in .'

' Alpha, I think your girl is in trouble.'

' Why ? Why do you think like that Orion?'

'Yes alpha , this feels very similar to the one that's following her.' she agreed .

Hmm.. then there is no other choice.

' I have to bring her here , she must be safe ..'

' Alpha I don't think this is a good idea as she didn't seem extremely positive of being in here..'

' What else can I do? She must be with me in order to be safe , I don't trust anyone else to keep her alive rather than me.'

' Do as you think best alpha, just please, be careful , she is still very fragile , her wounds havent healed yet..'

' You know.. you can just move in with him.. ' Ava teased seeing me going out.

Ohhh why did I had to tell her!

' You know.. Maybe I will..' Her mouth went wide pretending shocked.

' Oh my god.. The day I never expected to happen.. Hey , by the way, forgot to ask in the morning , but how come you know him for ... If I count right since the moment you arrived here? As much as I know you knew no one here...?'

Yeah.. been dreaming him since arrival , but actually met not so long ago.. How do I tell her that?!

' So , where we gonna go, and what's so important you couldn't tell over message?'

' Did you find anything of what happened to John?'

' Yes, actually , that's what I wanted to talk to you about...' he told beginning to drive.

' What if it rains?' I asked once recognised the same wooded area where his pack land were before being destroyed.

' A little further , no one will disturb us there.'

Said nothing , just observed the road he's going through.

Soon we reached a ..warehouse , but size of a one floor house.. ?

' What is this place?'

He jumped out the car and came to oped the door for me.

' It's where I come when I need some time alone..'

Was all he said leading me to the building.

' Hey! I know this place' 

He looked shocked for a moment .

'What?'

' The very first time , when I saw you in my dreams , I was here before that . but there were no one here.'

' It's exactly the way I saw , what is this beautiful place?'

' I have built it for my parents..' he said leading me to a bench in the middle of .. everything .

' Oh..' 

' I needed something that would remind of them..' 

' I understand..' Said sitting next to him.

' Aren't you afraid?' he asked shocked when I sat so close to him.

' I think time to try opening up to you has arrived..' 

' R.. really ? What changed?' he asked even more shocked.

' Because this might my only chance to ever experiencing happiness ..' 

' If we would be elsewhere I would've kissed you for what you just said..' 

' No objections, we will come to that step as well..' he quickly interrupted.

' Alright.. So, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?'

He dug his pocket and took out a sheet of fabric.. Gave it to me.

' Does it mean anything to you?'

' Hmm..no... ' It was until I saw what's written on the other side.

'  What..' whispered while memories came back to life , it is like she's back again and any moment will put me back to her mind prison.. those bags.. my paws digging holes in dirt ... Remus cursing me being worse than the ground he's walking on..

*Damian's POV*

' Samantha, are you alright ? ' But she didn't answer , just sat frozen.

This for sure means something to her..

' Tell me ? Who is Jane and what does it mean to you?' I tried .

No response.

Decided to do the only thing that came to mind ..  Moved closer to her and embraced in to a hug , to my surprise she didn't push away , just snuggled in my chest.

' It's alright Samantha , I'm here , no matter who  come our way I'll protect you.' 

She took a moment to collect herself..

' Alright , I'm ready , you need to know..' She told quietly.

' Jane is.. was me.' 

' So your name is Jane?' Asked her dumbfounded.

' No.. My real name is Lia  and Jane was my human..' 

' But now , I don't understand , I thought you said that I lost her..' she mumbled.

' It doesn't necessarily mean that it's her, it might be someone who knew her..'  this seems logic..

' She did the worst with me , never have I ever had human so bad and disrespectful to his wolf and the moment I thought , that's it , I can't do it anymore , just please let me die.. Rowena came .'

' She figured out what was going on so fast..  in a blink I was in control of this body , my body and Jane was gone , over ten years she treated me like trash..'

' Samantha I'm so sorry for what you had to go through..' I said hugging her tighter.

' And those bodies.. I had a mate you know, but Jane didn't care of him , because all she wanted was alpha of the pack.. She killed him and when went back to seducing alpha .. he already had found his true mate, she was so pissed of it that she tried to get rid if her.. Unsuccessfully , she , well we , were captured and the moment I thought it's over.. Rowena showed up.. And that's how I came here.'

'She  helped me so much , she freed me from that monster , gave a ticket to here , some money , clothes.. '  

' If not her ,  I wouldn't have you now..'  said stupidly.

She rose her head to look me in the eyes.

' Yes Damian , that's exactly it.' she said.

'And.. And those bodies in the cabinet, they meant so much to me because , the guy that Jane killed , mate.. She did it the same way, just that after that she used my form to dig little graves all over packs lands and bury him ... ' 

' I'm so sorry Samantha..'

'  Damian.. It only made me the way I'm right now.. '

' Luna to be... Perfect Luna' I added.

' That as well..' she agreed.
