Chapter 9. No way out

 * Samantha's POV*

Goddess, what's that sound... Alarm? Wait a minute!

' I don't have an alarm clock!' I shouted raising but quickly fell down because of my head playing tricks on me.

Dammit, why did I have to drink yesterday!

' But I have ..' heard someone say.

Wait a minute... w.. w... Oh, f*ck.

' Where am I?!' I shouted, rising again, this time slowly.

He's sitting on the couch right across the room, half naked.

' At my place, to be more precise , our room.' he said happily.

'Our...? Room..?! WHy didn't you call Ava? She would've taken me home, or at least helped you to bring me back..'

' Who's Ava? Oh.. the girl that was with you in the club? she was already gone when I sent my beta to find her..'

' Beta?! You have beta? Then it makes you...'

' Yes , I'm an alpha.' he said.

Is this a f*cking joke?! Jane wanted an alpha for a mate so much, she was even ready to kill for it to happen, and I'm getting one not wanting?! Something is not right with the goddess, or mother fate .. Or whoever decides that because they really messed up on me.

' No...'

' What no?' he asked with a raised eyebrow.

' If you would know my past you would understand... Now, can I go home or what , I have stuff to do..'

' If you would tell , I would know angel..' He said standing up from the couch and coming to bed.

' Would you mind dressing up?!' I demanded.

' Sure , if you'll give me my t-shirt back..' he said watching at my body.

I did as well.

' What the hell Damian!? Did you undress me?!' I demanded looking beneath the t-shirt; there was nothing! He even took off my bra!?

' Where is my bra!?! How dare you!?' I shouted at him.

He just chuckled and laid next to me.

' Uhm , excuse you!?'

' What? I just wanted you to sleep comfortably..' he said happily playing with a string of my hair.

How this hulk of a guy can be such a gentle being...

Yep... I'm falling.

' You wanna go home?' he asked the same dumb thing I already stated.

' Hey! I already said it.'

' So? Do you?'

Let out a breath.

' Yes..'

' Kiss me and I'll bring you home..' he said sheepishly.

' What is wrong with you!?' I shouted at him.

'Angel.. there is no way out of this , so just give in , If I would follow my instincts I would've marked you last night.. oh..no , on that plane, yes would've done that then.. '

' There is always one..' I began but was quickly stopped by his hand sliding underneath my, well, his t-shirt and creeping to one of my breasts.

' Samantha , you are mine and don't you even dare to think of doing that...' he said threateningly and began playing with my n****e.

Tried to push his hand off, but he won't budge.

' Who could've known that having a mate only a thought could turn me on..' he said licking his lips.

' Creep.'

He let out a breath.

' Babe , you just ruined such a perfect moment..' he said releasing my breast and going down to play with my belly button.

' Perfect moment for what you creep?' I asked with a laugh.

' To bond..' he said wiggling his eyebrows.

'Oh my goddess, can you please take me home? ' his grimace changed to one that looked sad...

' Don't you want breakfast, or a shower?' he questioned.

' Thanks , I'm good, I'll do all this at home.'

' Samantha you agreed on no running anymore..' he reminded. Dammit!

' I'm not ! But I need to get ready for work and clean up...'

' Why can't you do it here?'

' I'm sorry Damian, but you are not a woman and can't borrow me clothes...' A spark of hope appeared in his eyes.

' But my sister is..'

' No thank you ,please just bring me home or at least tell me where I'm so I could call a cab.'

He let out a breath in surrender.

' Alright...'

I rose from the bed, gosh... I feel so dirty.

' Show me the way out .' I said.

' Could I instead offer you a shower?' he tried yet again.

' Ride home will be enough, you already saw too much..'

' Babe.. I haven't seen enough... '

I didn't answer.

' Okay, okay , let's go .' he said, rising and going to take a t-shirt for himself and a hoodie which he offered for me.

' Thanks..' I said putting it on and going

to grab my dress, and bra which I slid underneath and put on... Took out an elastic from the small pocket in the dress and tied my hair into a ponytail...

Better.

Meanwhile, Damian just observed me.

' You are amazing..' that's all he said when I finished my mini show of fixing up quickly.

' So we go or not?' I demanded.

' If it would be up to me I would say no, but alright... this way.' he said, opening the door.

He led me downstairs. It's some kind of a two floor condo.

Downstairs is so spacious.

' You!?' heard someone shout as he led me to the elevator. Yeah, it goes straight to the elevator... Turned around to check on who it was.

' Vicky?!' I shouted.

' Yes.. hey!? Come, you need something to eat before going... '

' Oh.. thanks , but I had ... My stomach doesn't work properly right now..' she laughed.

' See you in five hours then, I guess..' she told and continued eating.

A guy sitting in front of her by the table stood up.

' Hi, I'm Mathew, or just Mat, Damian's beta..' he said friendly.

' Uhm, hi Mat , I'm Samantha..'

' See you soon Samantha..' he said and sat back.

We walked into the elevator.

' You know , it's still not too late to change your mind...'

' Thank you Damian but I want to go home..'

He let out a breath.

' Alright..'

We exited the fancy apartments building... There is no other way to call it rather than fancy... there isn't even reception there, just elevators that bring you straight to your place.

' What is this place..? ' I asked as we were walking out.

' It's my home, my packs as well...'

' Which side of city is it?'

'West , the whole west side belongs to us and east , where you live, to humans.'

' How do you..'

' I've done a little research babe..'

' So why the hell didn't you bring me home last night ?!' I demanded as he opened the door to his jeep for me.

'So I could undress you.' he said and closed the door.

' What the f*ck is wrong with you!?! I shouted once he sat in.

' Girl, don't try my limits , if my wolf would've pushed me just a little more I would have marked you the first time and you would have to be with me no mater what.'

' You wouldn't!" I shouted in disbelieve.

' Oh yes I would, you don't know how much I'm controlling myself right now... ' he said with a glance.

' Why is everyone so horny around..' I contemplated quietly.

' What ?!' he shouted stopping the car on the side of a road.

' Who else is.. excited next to you?!' he demanded looking me in the eyes.

' Calm down now.. MY friend.. Girl.. friend I live with..'

' Oh .. Um.. Alright .' he murmured and started the car again.

' Even if it would be a guy , why should you care..'

' Alright now, what the f*ck are you talking about?!' he shouted stopping the car again and grabbing my chin to look at him.

Couldn't hold in and cringed.

' Just joking , alright! I don't understand why are you taking it so seriously!' I tried to say chuckling.

' Don't joke like that.. ever again..' he said threateningly.

' Why are you so annoying...'

' Because you wont give up , even after sleeping together you still won't speak .' he explained driving.

' I will when I feel ready for it, and the sleeping part... I was drunk! And I didn't ask you to bring me to your place..!'

He laughed.

' My wolf is going crazy wanting to know about you..'

' Me too.' his eyes went wide.

' Wait , so does it mean that you are..'

' Yes, my human was tamed .'

He shook his head.

' It wasn't tamed , it died...' he whispered.

' No, it was tamed , the witch said we would change places but she wouldn't be able to speak with me like I did with her..'

' We can speak of it later...' He said stopping the car by my place.

' Can I.. come in ..?' Then he asked.

' Uhm.. Yes... Because you didn't leave me there alone yesterday I can offer you something to drink , if you want..' he nodded and stepped out of the car.

Led him to the elevator, once reached the floor, led him to my apartment.

' Sam? Oh , wow , hello?' Ava spoke looking at us from the living room.

' Oh , hi Ava , Damian.. I.. it's him..' I said letting out a breath.

' Well hello Damian , what would you like coffee, tea?' She asked happily.

' Coffee.'

' Alright , you can come to sit in the living room, Sam , you coming?' she asked me with that damn grimace written all over her face meaning that she gonna question the s**t out of me...

'Yeah...'

She began taking the cups out..

' Soooo !?' she demanded.

' So what? I got drunk , you, 'material of a true friend' allowed me to wander of... Then he found me , I stupidly fainted and he brought me to his place...' her eyes got wide.

' Did you ?!'

' No , Ava ! I wouldn't...'

It's his problem to think whatever reason he wants of me saying ' I wouldn't' I freaking know that he's listening to every word I say right now.

' Uhuh.. Girl, you need .. he obviously as well needs, because no other stranger of a guy would have just did it out of good heart, this is not how world spins... So why not?'

Because there is something way more in this goddammit, and I can't tell.

' I'm not ready to dive in a relationship.' She started laughing.

' Oh girl... I love how naive you are... at age of twenty three.. One of a kind ..' She said barely able to speak through her laughter.

If I were so damn naive, I would already be dead.. and not f*cked. Stupid human.

' Water is ready if you didn't notice.' I tried to stop her dumb laughter.

' Alright alright.. Relax babe, by the way , this suits you..' She said looking at my clothes while filling the cups.

' I strongly disagree..' I said leaving her in the kitchen and going to my room to change.

When closed the door was quickly pushed to the wall.

' What the..' Chest appeared in my vision. Of course, who else could it be?

'Don't you ever dare to say that my scent on you is something disgusting !?' Damian roared pushing me to the wall with his body while his hands wandering on my sides.

' Let me go .' I demanded quietly.

' Not until you finally understand that you are mine and there is no way out..' he said rubbing himself into me.
