CINNAMON Today was our last day in Japan, and I hated it. I didn't want any of it to end. Nonetheless, I was so grateful for these last few days here. We'd explored Japanese streets lined with vendors selling everything imaginable. We had family breakfasts at small cafés where the owners greeted us like regulars and happiness seemed baked into the walls. Wandered through markets where Thessa dragged me to every colorful stall while Dante's mom and mine walked arm-in-arm like old friends discovering each other. It gave me time to bond with them.
