Bella woke up from her deep slumber her standing on all sides yawning tiredly she turned to look at the clock on the wall, seeing the time her eyes widened in surprise she was almost late for work. she took off the sheets and jumped up down from her bed and ran to the bathroom turning on her shower. After bathing she came out with her towel wrapped around her she walked to where her wardrobe was and dressed up in a pair of jeans and a white shirt with white sneakers. Satisfied with her look she packed her long black waist-length hair in a messy bun before applying lip balm on her perfectly pink plump lips.

Taking her bag she walked out of the room going to check on her mother who might be in the kitchen, as she enters the kitchen the smell of pancakes hit her nose making her mouth water.

Good morning Mum, Bella said hugging her from behind

Morning dear how was your night?

It was great Mum, how about yours?

It was great too, Mum answered

Wait Mum please go and sit down let me finish up, Bella said taking the spoon from her mother's hands

No it's okay I'm done cooking take, Bella's mum said handing her a plate

Thanks Mum, Bella said already rushing it

Once she was done eating, she took the plate to the sink and washed it.

Mum, I'm going already bye

Bye don't overwork yourself, she replied

Okay mum you too and I mean it, Bella said with a serious face

Okay okay fine, her mum said rolling her eyes

Sighs mum you need to take this seriously the doctor said that you don't need stress mum please consider your health if. Not it think of me I can't live without you please, Bella said eyes red and teary

It's okay baby don't cry I'll not overwork now go you're late already, her mum said wiping her tears

Right love you, Bella kissed her mum's cheek before running out. Hermum smiles warmly touching the spot she kissed

Bella ran as fast as she could the wind blowing her face as she ran. few meters away from the restaurant she stopped bending down hands on kneels panting hard trying to catch her breath. Relieved she walked the rest way to the restaurant. As soon as she entered the warm air hit her.

She walked to the changing room and wore her uniform which brought out her curves, and then she went to her position

Aphal Liam Lincoln Was sitting in his office signing some papers when his beta best friend Mark came in.

"Why are you here," President Liam asked not looking up

"Is that a good way to greet your bestie? Mark asked

"Just tell me what you're here for, as you can see I'm really busy" Liam told him

"the elders called again," Mark said

Immediately Liam looked up glaring at him with red eyes

"don't look at me like that, you know I can't ignore their calls, moreover it's my job" Mark replied in defence

"What is the reason for their call? " Liam asked calmness in his tone

"The usual... but this time they threatened your position, they said that if you're not able to get your mate and have an heir, remove you from your position" Mark Said

"those old bastards, if they try to do anything stupid I won't hesitate to kill them" Liam Growled his wolf trying to come out.

Mark shivered. Even though they had been friends for 23 years he is still afraid of him whenever he gets angry.

"When was the last time you went to a club? " Mark asked trying to change the topic

Calling his angry wolf down Liam answered him

'Well then if you agree we can go clubbing tonight and have some fun with pretty girls" Mark suggested

Bella entered the house only to be met with a sight that shocked her

"Mum, mum, wake up please get up, someone help anyone my mum is dying please help," Bella screamed in tears shaking her mother vigorously

Neighbours who were around rushed inside to see what was happening

Mrs Hardid was rushed into the operation room immediately she was brought in, everyone who had come with Bella had already left, and Bella sat there in deep thoughts, she prayed silently for it to not be critical.

Doctor Charles came out looking worried, he walked to where Bella sat and cleared his throat.

She heard the sound and looked up to see Doctor Charles looking at her immediately she stood up

" is my mum alright, what happened to her (looks at the glass only to see her pale-looking mother lying on the bed, her heart aching at the sight).

Oh her situation is very critical, she fainted due to stress, and she needs to do the kidney transplant now, doctor Charles said breaking the news to her
