Dante gasped at what he saw. The cave in front of them was full of hundreds of people, all working on some demon assembly line. Tentacles and Lipsludge shoved them toward a long conveyor belt that carried large rocks to a dropping point so that two men and a woman could use sledgehammers to break them into tiny pieces. Oversized blue demons with whips monitored the area, occasionally sending the sting of their whip across the shoulders of an unfortunate worker. As he scanned the cave, Dante saw thousands of demons overseeing the production area. While some of the demons stood in plain view, others remained hidden in shadows with only their glowing eyes to give them away.
