Without showing any mercy, Edward Teach moved his weapon through O’Hara’s chest. His screams became unbearable, then they turned into low and terrified cries: they didn’t look like a coward’s shouts, but the moaning of a man in the throes of death. Rogers saw Blackbeard pulling out his sabre, tearing pieces of bloody flesh. O’Hara took a step, a second, a third one… then he fell face down.
