Charlie looked at her without saying anything. He remained unmoved even though Elen told him about her feelings. It was as if the love Elen had expressed was completely meaningless in his eyes.
Elen's tears didn't stop flowing. She wanted Charlie to look at her like he used to. She wanted to hug Charlie, she wanted Charlie to come back to her.
"Charlie, is there no way for me, for you to love me back?"
