CASSIAN'S POV
The both of us can barely fall asleep again. Not when Nova is constantly talking about the silver vessel.
“I just hope she's fine,” she says for what feels like the hundredth time.
I hold myself back from rolling my eyes. I am one of the people who is the most interested in the thing that Nova gets involved in. But it is getting harder to act like I am not slightly irritated by the fact that she is paying more attention to the vessel than she is supposed to.
The vessel is connected to her somehow, and I know that it isn't going to take too much time until she shows herself again. Until she is going to try to win Nova over all over again.
