BEATRICE'S POV
I swing my feet off the bed as I stand by the window of my hotel. Fred is standing at the side of my bed as he looks over at me. He has been there the whole time, and I can't help but be thankful to him. He wants to make sure that nobody is able to find me yet.
“They were at the facility,” he says, making me freeze.
“What do you mean?” I ask, as a shiver runs through my spine. I am more than sure that it is all Nova's idea. Cassian would never come looking for me.
“They managed to locate the place. I don't know how they did it, but they did. We had to blow it up.”
“Why will you do that?” I ask, raising my voice slightly. “Were any of them hurt?”
