“Are you going to Kill me? Are you going to murder your father, your king?” Richard asked. Marcus stepped back and walked around his father. Alice was standing where he had left her. She was shaking with fear. Marcus had a murderous face, he was moving faster and faster around his father. Everything happened so fast. Richard grabbed Marcus by the throat and pulled him up. “You think you can defeat me? I’m older and stronger than you. You haven’t matted with her so you aren’t stronger than me.” Richard laughed. Marcus wouldn’t move he just stared at his father. No word came out from Marcus. “Please don’t hurt him. Please don’t. It’s not our fault. We didn’t do anything. We are innocent. Please let him go.” Alice cried. It hurt her heart to see Marcus in the position he was in. Marcus chest felt the sharp pain Alice was feeling. Marcus tried to move but his father ordered his soldiers to place him in the silver cage and to kill me. Alice screamed so loud that her eyes started glowing. Then her hands, chest and face was glowing up. “Let him go or this is the end of you.” Alice voice was off. She could feel power radiating from her. She knew she could destroy Richard and the entire world, if she wanted to. She felt the power running through her veins. Her minded sharpened, thinking multiple ways to get rid of the enemy. The power she felt made her feel unstoppable. She never thought she could think this way or be able to feel so powerful. Richard let Marcus go. Marcus walked towards Alice and kissed her, admiration in his eyes. She could see pride in him. Alice felt peace and calmness just by locking eyes with him. He definitely is my mate, Alice thought. The light started fading then she was back to herself. “Where did that come from love” Marcus chuckled. “I don’t know, I couldn’t stand you being in danger. I would die if anything happens to you. Kiss me” Alice grabbed Marcus from his neck and brought his lips to hers once again. The need to claim his mouth was so intense. He devoured her like no one had before, she felt pressure on her sweet spot. A small moaned escaped her lips, Marcus growled with pleasure. Marcus scanned her eyes and Alice could see the adoration on his eyes. It melted her. “Marcus, you need to make a decision.” King Richard roared. The king was shaking with anger. Marcus turned to look at his father. “Why even bother asking if you know what my decision is. Alice. I choose Alice. Forever. I don’t want the throne. I don’t want to claim my birthright if it means I need to give up on her. She is mine.” Marcus growled. Alice was holding his hand and bicep. She could feel Marcus anger. “This is something you will regret, boy. You ungrateful i***t. You’re telling me you would throw everything down the drain for this w***e?” Richard yelled. Marcus tried launching at his father but Alice pulled him back and press her lips to his ear. “Don’t hurt him baby, he’s your father and I don’t want you regretting this. Words don’t break me. You would break me. There’s only on thing that would hurt me, you. The rest is nothing compare to the damage you would be able to cause. I love you, you’re my everything. You’re mine.” Alice whispered. Marcus touched her cheek and swore “I will never hurt you love. Ever.” Marcus kissed her. He walked away from his father, holding Alice hand. He turned his back on his father and throne.
