Marcus couldn’t bring out the girl out of his mind. I need to advise father about this. He thought. I am known to be well respected and powerful. How can this crumble up for a HUMAN! No, this can’t be happening. I hate this. I need to come clean to father. I can’t, no. I won’t hurt her. A very determined Marcus thought. Today I shall speak to father. Alice.- Woke up thinking about the stranger. She dreamt about him. In her dreams the more she tried to get close to him the more he would walk away. She hated that. She wanted to speak to him, know his name. “Ah, I need to stop this. I can’t do this to James. James has been with me since we’re 13 years old.” Alice said to herself. That morning Alice cooked breakfast for her parents and herself. Her parents saw a small change in her. She seemed happy and hopeful. Her father asked “Alice, how is James doing? Will he come today”. Alice hesitated, “don’t know apa. He’s been so busy lately.” Her father glanced to her mother. For a fraction of a second Alice saw worry in her fathers eyes. “I’ll speak to James. He must spend more time with you.” Her apa said. “Apa, don’t. James has a lot in his plate right now. He’s going to take over his late fathers business. Give him a break. Besides I don’t mind, it gives me time to think if I want to attend college or start working”. Alice smiled. “Nonsense Alice you were born to get married to James and form a family.” Apa demanded. “Father. There is more to a woman than to get married out of High school. I’ve told you this, I want to attend college and finish a career!”. Alice has had this conversation over and over since she turned 17. She couldn’t understand her fathers desperation over this topic. To enlighten to mood she told her father about the plans she had for the kids shelter. “I will be going to the supermarkets and businesses asking for donations” Alice informed her parents. Her parents were so proud of her, Alice had a pure heart. Alice got in her car a drove to the places she had already in mind. She was able to get a good amount of donations for the children’s shelter. The last stop was to this private club that was known to make large sums of donations to charity places. Alice walked to the security team and asked them if she could speak to the owner of the club. The security team laughed at her and asked her to leave. When Marcus appeared behind them “Let her in.” He snarled and bare his teeth to his security team. Alice was surprised to see the stranger that hasn’t Left her mind there, upset at the security guards that made fun of her. Alice followed him in, she wasn’t afraid even though she saw that exchange. She knew she was a lost cause. Marcus had visited the club, he needed drinks. When he had a sensation in all his body. He couldn’t be still. He walked to his office and sat in front of the cameras, that was when he saw Alice. “What is she doing here” he said to himself. I must invite her in, he thought. When he walked out and heard his employees laughing at her he couldn’t stop the growl. He bared his teeth at them. He suddenly stopped and glared at her. “What are you doing here!?” Marcus asked. Alice hesitated, she bit her bottom lip and folded her arms across. “Sir, I am here to bargain for the children’s non-profit shelters. These kids are in need and your help would be very much appreciated”. Alice mumbled. Marcus was taken back with Alice’s request to help the local shelter. He had to hear more.
