Confused.

Once Alice was inside her car, she was able to go over the events that happened. She was confused by his question. “What are you?” Marcus had asked her. What did he mean by that? His speed and growl wasn’t normal. He inhaled her in, that wasn’t right. She should be scared and running for her life. Somehow she felt that Marcus wouldn’t hurt her. It seemed like he didn’t want his father to know she was there. Why? She thought. She couldn’t believe how she felt when Marcus body was against her back. She wanted to turn around and kiss him. She wanted to do so many things with him. James! She thought. He didn’t deserve this. She must tell James. James and her had gone through a lot of things and had promised to always be honest with each other. James never lost control with her, he always respected her. The most they would do is kiss and hold hands. James would tell her how he wanted to wait until they were married cause that was what she deserved. She cried. She thought to herself how horrible of a person she was. How could she feel like this towards a stranger that had her pinned towards the door when they didn’t even know each other. “James doesn’t deserve this” she cried. Alice tried calling James but he didn’t pick up. She then decided to pay him a visit, she had to feel his lips on hers. She had to erase any thought she had of that stranger. Alice knocked on James door for a while. James came out of his apartment without a shirt and seemed to had been waken up from a nap. “Alice my love what are you doing here” he hesitated. He didn’t let her in, he stood by the door blocking her from coming in. “I know this is unexpected but I miss you. I want to spend time with you. We haven’t been spending time together. You’ve been so busy lately that I rarely see you” Alice said. “ babe, you know that I just took over the family business and I’ve been having a rough time. Please don’t over think, go home I’ll pay you a visit later tonight.” Marcus said. Alice felt sad and she wanted to cry but held it back. She couldn’t be selfish. She knew he had responsibilities now. “Okay, I’ll see you tonight” with a small voice she responded. Alice had a feeling that she wouldn’t see James later on. She had to distract herself. When she got home, there was a note from her parents stating they were going to be out two days dude to business. That was odd she thought. They never had leave her behind. Maybe they decided that she was a responsible adult and it’s time to trust her. She was satisfied. Later on after completing all the chores. Alice decided to take a warm bath. She needed it. She received a text from James “sorry I won’t be able to go tonight, love you so much. I will make it up to you”. She knew it so she didn’t feel that sad. She decided to think about this mysterious stranger. Why does she feel like she knows him? What is he to her? Why did she feel so attracted to him? Why does she want him to take her and have his way with her every day all day. Stop Alice she said to herself. One thing for sure she needed to see him one more time. Alice decided to take a walk. She felt restless and needed to clear her mind. There it is that feeling again. The sensation of being watched was there again. Ugh, it must be the current events that had her jumpy. She wasn’t wrong, when she was two blocks away from the park a black Audi stopped right next to her. She stared at the car and when she saw who was behind the dark tinted window she felt relief. It was him, Marcus. She smiled at him and her heart skipped a beat. What was this intensity? Marcus had a smirk and asked her to get inside the car. Alice immediately complied. She needed to know more about him. Once Alice was inside the car, Marcus drove slowly as in trying to have as much time with her. So the questions began!
