Part_8 The mystery man

"What are you talking about cops and why were they here in my company?'' A demanding deep husky voice came from my door. Mr. Blake was standing there opening the wooden door.

" I um...err..."I couldn't speak, I couldn't form a single sentence I mean what should I say? I was caught off guard..... I was just standing in the middle of my office looking at my bosses like I was caught cheating in the middle of examination.

Before I could show them that I remember all the vowels from kindergarten Ian came to my rescue.

'' I was just telling her that she is so beautiful that if cops had a chance they would definitely arrest her so they can spend some time with her '' Ian said making me more nervous than before. Xavier's expression changed to frown to confusion.

'' I've heard that they were asking about Miss. Williams'' Mr. Blake asked raising an eyebrow and leaning on door frame.

( Fredrico: Oh, that was sexy!

Pearl: Yeah, definitely)

For a second Ian looked panicked but suddenly he masked it with his a sudden realisation expression

'' Oh , Yeah I forgot to tell you that Pearl , Two officers were here they for your Visa related work they thought you are working here full time which is clearly not appropriate from the type of visa you have but don't worry I personally told them not to worry cause you're working here part time" Ian said looking directly to my eyes like he was telling me to act accordingly.

" Rally, Yesterday I had got a phone call that they are going to visit me but I didn't know they will come here. I am sorry for bothering you"

Mr. Blake looked between us suspiciously" Mr. Ian Jeffery Dalglish Blake if you have forgot let me remember you that you are a chairman of this company and you have far more important work than flirting with Miss. Pearl Rose Williams"

( Fredrico: How the hell did he know about your middle name?

Me: Babe, He is Mr. Blake he knows everything.)

'' What can I do brother you took my interview and made her your PA otherwise she would have under my supervision with much less workload ''said Ian

" Meet me in my office at lunch break" he murmured while picking his file and left without a second glance.

''I told you not to flirt or seduce my employee so you're now after my brother?'' He said angrily

''Women like you have a no class, now go and get me a coffee" he left for his office

'' How could he say that?'' I stood there in tears.

( Fredrico: You know that shouldn't affect you, you've heard worse than that unless you are growing some feelings for him.....

Pearl: No, It's just that....I feel like one should have be respected everywhere despite of their all the causes.....there is always gonna be a reason which you don't know....doesn't matter who the person is....)

I made his coffee but without sugar and more coffee

( Fredrico: looks like someone gonna get constipation

Pearl: Sure, Rico. It's what he gets after making me cry)

Knocking the door "Come in''

"Here is your coffee Sir'' I put the ' hot constipation coffee' on his desk '' I am going to arrange files tell me if you have any Personal Assistant related work'' I got out of that door before he could say anything

I was in a lift when I heard him shout " The Hell"

It might have been like 45 minutes when I got some notification from Mr. Blake on company's website that he needed me.

When I reached there he was talking to someone on his office I could here some voices, I didn't wanted to disturb them thinking that he needed me and might know about me from his office cameras I stood there. After an elderly man came out Mr. Blake called me in'' Come in Miss. Williams''

'' On 2nd February we have our company's 50th anniversary I want you to organize the party there will be company staff assisting you. I want that party to be perfect, Do you have any questions?'' He asked me like he has completed his reverse revenge

'' I haven't done that before I mean...I haven't organised a party before....I am not sure that I can do it'' I said quizzically. He was enjoying this I know from his eyes that he was

'' There are lots of first in a person's life Miss. Williams you don't have be afraid from that just keep in mind that If this party wasn't what I wanted it to be I will personally make sure that you will get back to your country ''his lip had curled into a smirk

''It will take a lot of time, I don't have time I mean I am studying and also have to work'' I defended

Mr. Xavier got up from his chair and hovered on me. I don't why he does that is that necessary to intimidate someone from you height and muscular body and that always makes my breathes to deepen itself.'' Miss. Williams you had to think that before signing the contract, on 56th page a point is that you have to organise some business party and on 80th page there is also a line that if you failed to fulfil the necessities actions will be taken accordingly''

'' Okay, after researching I'll give you the full details tomorrow I am currently working on arranging the files''

'' I want the full details by tomorrow morning and about the files It should be done by today itself'' he said looking annoyed

'' That's impossible I can't do it single handed I am only up to G series''

'' Then make it possible, I don't have a time for argument and this time bring me a real coffee, understand? Now leave"

After giving him his coffee I made my way through the file room by adding some alarms for the meetings.

(Pearl: Hey , Rico! what should I do this man is going to kill me no one can do that in such a short time

Fredrico: You know what it's time for a little help ask your friends if you wanna save this job.

Pearl: How embarrassing that is, No Rico if he has given me the task only I will do it. They have their own problems and moreover they are doing so much around these days for me. )

Surprisingly as the deadline came near and near my speed increased I was about to M series when it was 12:00p.m. which was lunch time. Suddenly I remembered something Ian wanted to see me this time.I went straight to his office. After knocking it twice a voice came '' Pearl I was waiting for you''

''Sorry I was caught in some work'' I said sitting comfortably in chair

'' Why cops were asking about you history, work experience and most important change in behaviour and character?'' He asked with a frown

'' I....erm.I had an accident few days back"

''Pearl did you kill that guy?'' he asked straight looking at my eyes

My heartbeat risen" Honestly I don't know '' then I told them the whole incident knowing that he knew the main part

''so you don't know where is that man and neither do those officers there are only suspecting you because they saw you on street camera around that time"

'' The cops don't know means he can't be in hospital. Oh, god what should I do. It means that all the evidences are against me wait...there wasn't any evidence I mean when I went there again ata the same spot not a single drop of blood, that will help right?'' I was beyond confuse at that point

'' Pearl Pearl Pearl you are going to be all fine it would have been okay if had killed that man...Nothing will happen.....Do you understand? He asked me by holding my head from his both hands which calmed me.

''.....look, there is no evidence and a single evidence is also going to be destroyed, Okay?'' When he said those words My walls broke and I started to cry but he kept calming me by hugging me slightly '' I thought they will arrest me and press some charges against me and.....and.....I will never be able to meet my mum again...and will never be able to fulfil my dreams....Now I was ugly crying in front of my boss. ''But how will you destroy the last evidence? And yeah, Who would try to wipe all the evidences? Was that was just an another accident or a murder? Or it has something to do with me?

'' I have my ways what do you we here just by good deeds? no, Pearl that's not how business works.....''he had let go of me from his embrace but his grip on my hand hadn't lost a bit.'' I will do my everything to find that person, I promise you..."

What surprise me was that I cried in front of him, person who had seen me cry were just my mother, father and my therapist.

''Can I ask you a question'' I somehow didn't wait for his answer '' Why are you helping me?''

He had that depth inside in his eyes at that time " Your eyes makes me remember someone I lo...I.....cared for''

''Okay now go and wash your face'' suddenly his expression changed to usual

Really I should take some classes from Blake guys they change their expression even faster than chameleon changing it's colour. Their skills are Oscar worthy.

''Thank you so much'' I hugged Ian at the same moment door burst open

''Why aren't you answering my calls'' There comes my worst nightmare as Mr. Xavier saw us at first his tone became dangerously low like a cos function's graph, then his eyes followed to our bodies and finally again on my chest where it was pressed against his brother's. That man is definitely obsessed with my boobs. As his eyes fell on mine storms of his eyes came back and his pupil dilated.

'' What are you doing here?''

I couldn't speak with a zero thoughts. Seriously I don't know what happens to me when this man is any near to me.

'' I called her since she is my friend she hangouts with me and also I wanted to ask her to be my date on our company's 50th anniversary''

''She can't'' Mr. Blake said in a low and calm voice but his voice had a command on it

''I asked first moreover it's her choice'' Ian said but his voice was soft compared to Mr. Blake's deep voice.

''I gave her duty to organise the party and she is.....MINE....Personal Assistant , I will need someone's assistant during the party end of the discussion '' Mr. Blake took mind hand escorted me towards his office

On our way I tried to free my hand from his grip but from each try it became more and more steel people were staring at us but he didn't do any effort to loosen hi grip. As his floor was just a single floor away there wasn't a soul who could come to my recue

Once we reached to his office in a swift movement he closed the door and made me lean on it. He had his both hands on either side of my face. but I didn't look in his eyes. ''Miss. Williams look at me" his was so deep which made a shiver on my whole body. This close proximity was something I couldn't bare '' When I say look at me , look at me dammit! He banged his right hand on the door. I saw so many emotions in that eyes there was to take in where all the emotion changed in to an anger." Why were you with my brother in his office....hmm?''
