Origami’s crew was already standing beside us weapons drawn as our doom approached. I had known every man here today and I realized just how much they dreaded the sea bandits. They were tensed slightly frightened. Looking at the two ships full of men who had probably been living all of their lives fighting and stealing, it was extremely hard not to be shaken, even for a bit. With a stern look, I gazed at the men who were getting closer to us. I remembered I didn’t even have my sword here, but I wasn’t planning on using it either.
