“Join us for lunch,” Nially told Zian after they were done with their last final exam. She never gave up inviting him ever since her best friend began acting odd. She learned Zian’s parents came home together; she was very upset that Zian didn’t tell her. She resented Alden because he knew.
“That’s the least you can do for me for ignoring me,” Nially spoke, purposely making Zian feel guilty.
A week was left before graduation. The emotional turmoil Zian had to go through was coupled by the pressure of their finals examinations.
