“Zian?”
Evie came running to her brother and hugged him tight, her tears rolling down her cheeks freely. “You came!” she sobbed.
“Y-Yeah…”
Workers and visitors at the hospital passed through back and forth as the siblings stood in the middle of the lobby. “Evie… I called Edward.”
“Um, yeah.” Evie wiped her tears as he removed herself from her brother. Her breath was shaky as she pointed at the hallway leading to the right wing of the hospital. “Grandpa is here. Come, I’ll take you to him.”
Zian followed his sister and soon they arrived on the third floor of the hospital. His mind was busy thinking about what might have happened, he did not notice the many changes in the city ever since he left. For one, the regional hospital used to have just one floor
