I can tell that Kay liked the idea of returning home but not the reality of it. Can’t say I blame her. We barely had time to rest before our crazy schedule took over. The day after arriving, we took Miah to get checked out, so far all of her test results are negative. However, the doctors say that we might not find out anything until she’s older. That definitely put a damper on things, but we remained positive that the outcome would remain as it was.
Kay resumed physical therapy and counseling. Her limitations are now less limited. She’s been cleared to return to work and decided to resume work with a few conditions which I happily agreed to. Two days in the office and three at home. On the days that she does come in, so will Miah and the work hours will lessen.
