“Focus on your target.” Uncle Marcus said in a low voice. I took a deep breath and pulled the bowstring with my right hand together with the arrow. “Relax your shoulders.” He instructed and I followed. “Let go when you’re ready.” My eyes focused on the red dot that Uncle Marcus put on the tree trunk. I pulled the bowstring harder before finally letting it go. The arrow swooshed into the air and pierced into the bark of the tree, about a foot above the red dot. I missed again! For the millionth time… I have been training continuously for two weeks now but I have very little to no improvement at all. I’m getting frustrated, angry and hopeless all at the same time.
