Did I? Get Reincarnated As A Bow?

Chapter 2: A Bow!?

A bow? What’s she talking about… 

Clearly, I’m a human, does she have bad eyesight or something. I took a look around and realized that there’s no bow at all. Meaning that she does have bad eyesight then. 

Maybe she missed me as my body must be small for her to see. As she seems to be a giant or a troll. Plus the condition of her eye might make it worse… 

“Please reply if it was you that was talking to me.” The girl said that. 

“Yes, it’s me… But of course not the bow at all.” I said that hoping that this time the girl could see me. 

After I said that, the girl began to look around the place… Judging from the way she looks, I could tell that she couldn’t find me at all. 

Which makes me think, it’s that hard to spot me? I know for a fact that I’m small but there’s no way it would be that hard. For sure, this girl has really bad eyesight because if she does have good eyesight… there’s no doubt she could find me easily. 

“Where are you! I can’t find you at all… could you tell-” Before the girl could say anything further, she stopped as the skeleton was getting closer to her. 

She then tried to grab something near her and to my surprise! The thing that the girl grabbed was me… 

“Hey! You’re holding me right now!” I said that as I feel quite uncomfortable. 

The girl looked at me as if she was in shock… But that’s understandable since I was a tiny man after all. It’s not like people would see this often. Even I would be surprised if I was in her position right now. 

“It's just like what I said earlier! It’s you that was talking… a bow!” The girl said that out loud. 

Hearing what the girl said made me surprised as I didn’t expect that. It can’t be- There’s no way I was reincarnated as a bow. But as I think about it… the voice that I hear upon my death might be the reason why I have become a bow. 

As I was the one that was so focused on the bow mod that I had installed for my game back then… I should have realized that the voice was not mine and should have picked better reincarnation options, like becoming a dragon or something like that. 

But what could I do now? There’s no point in regretting the past anymore… I should be glad that I was given the chance of reincarnation even though I had become a bow in this world. 

Still? Why me… isn’t there a lot of better people out there. As I’m just a normal factory worker with no talent whatsoever. 

Just when I was about to put deep thought into the reason for my reincarnation… the girl screamed. 

“Get away from me!” She screamed as the skeletons were getting closer. 

With that, I realized that this isn’t the time for me to be thinking of that. It’s how I could help this girl to survive as I am aware of something here. I’m a freaking bow and there’s no way I could walk out from this strange place… I need the girl alive. 

“Use me! This is your only chance to make out of this situation alive!” I said that towards the girl. 

“How? There are no arrows at all…” 

It’s true that at the moment, we have no arrows but the girl could still use me as an object to just hit the skeletons up. I’m sure that- Suddenly I remembered something, the voice one said about my skills and it was… Conjuration Arrow. 

If that skill was something I thought it would be, then we have a chance of getting out here without being killed by the skeletons at all. 

But there’s one problem right now… that is I have no freaking idea how to activate that skill at all. I didn’t have a system or anything like that at all, thus I didn’t have a clue at all. It’s good that I have a tutorial so that I can get used to all of this. 

The voice should have done that, telling me how to do all of this stuff. Shouldn’t just throw me into all of this mess immediately… 

I guess the only way to find out how to use it was to test all the possible ways to activate the skill. 

“Don’t worry… I have something that could help us.” I said that. 

I still haven’t figured out whether I was the one that needed to activate it or the person that was using me… But since there’s no way for me to know that, I would just say it first, and if nothing happens… I will ask the girl to say it for me. 

“What? There’s nothing-” She stopped halfway as suddenly as an arrow began to appear out of nowhere. 

Although the arrow was a bit different, as it wasn’t made out of the common material that arrows are usually built upon. Because this one was made out of pure magical energy… Why do I know that? It’s pretty obvious since the arrow was glowing in white colors. 

“There! The arrow that we needed.” I said. 

It seems the only person that was required to activate the skills was me. That’s great as that means I still have control of something, because if I don’t have that sort of authority at all. Feel like I’m just a normal bow that everyone could use and activate the skill. 

“What are you waiting for! Shoot the arrow onto the skeletons…” I said that as the girl doesn’t seem to do anything despite having the arrow that she needed to defeat the skeletons. 

“I can’t!” The girl said that which surprised me. 

What does she mean by that? We have the arrows already… does she couldn’t use the bow. But it’s pretty simple as she just needs to pull the bowstrings and the arrow would hit the skeletons.
