A numerous knock on the wooden door and my phone blasting through my ears had woken me up from my deep slumber.
Reaching for my phone placed on the bedside table with my eyes closed, I was internally amused that I didn’t manage to drop it in the process. Upon placing the gadget next to my ear as I answered the call, I was welcomed with the Beta’s voice.
“Kara, wake up.” He began as I heard a louder sound of knock on the end of the line. “I’m just outside your room. Open up, Kara.”
