Despite the guy being much younger than him but higher in position, Garry remembered the oath that he had pledged for Kara’s biological parents in order to protect her at all costs.
“Tasked?” Levi repeated, curiosity beaming in his voice. “What do you mean that you only did what was tasked for you?” He trailed, seemingly recalling the words that Garry just blurted out. “For the safety of Wolf King Winston’s daughter and for the future of the Monleite Kingdom?” He repeated once again, trying to digest the words in his system.
