He knocked on the door and spoke. “Sylvia, open up, daddy needs to speak with you” Mr Martinez stated firmly outside the door. Sylvia jerked up from the bed immediately, she was supposed to answer the door but she found herself walking towards the bathroom to lock herself up, not wanting to see anybody especially her father.
He had already sold her out, why did he suddenly want to see her now? She wasn't interested in talking to him, matter of fact, she didn't think that she would ever want to talk to him. Sylvia shut the bathroom door, turned on the shower and stayed inside for a while.
He could somehow hear the shower from outside the bedroom, he waited for a little more time and after he noticed Sylvia wasn't going to come outside, he left feeling disappointed.
