"Phil"I heard a familiar voice which I haven't heard in years

"Philip!" I called out rushing to him and he embraced me

"He is... promised th..at he .. will always be there for me but he didn't keep his promise, he didn't"I said chocking on my tears

"It's okay, let's go inside"he said dragging me.

"Where is mom " I asked after settling in

"Well she couldn't sleep last night so she is now "he said "you should also rest I wake you up when it's time for the burial"

"What do you mean by that " I asked confused" I thought burial is after some weeks or so " I said

"This is one of his wishes " He said"I will leave you alone so that you can rest and wake you up when it's time "he added and left.

I tried sleeping but I couldn't so I waited until it was time for the funeral. I took my bath, got dressed and then went to the back yard where the funeral was being held and once I got there, I spotted mom standing near dad's coffin I tried to go there but I couldn't cause I know that I wouldn't be able to let go so I turned to leave but stop when I heard a familiar voice calling me "Philma"
