VICTORIA'S WAR ROOM

718 Words
EPISODE 19 Victoria didn’t go home. She couldn’t. The penthouse was already sealed by police. So she went to the only place left. Her "hideous spot." --- #### THE HIDEOUT A 2-bedroom apartment. Industrial Area. No windows. Concrete walls. Smelled like bleach and old cigarettes. Bought under a fake name 8 years ago. "For emergencies," she told herself. Now it was her prison. She slammed the door. Threw her Louboutins at the wall. Screamed until her throat hurt. "HOW?!" "HOW DID THEY DO THIS TO ME?!" She collapsed on the dirty mattress. Crying. Ugly crying. No makeup. No cameras. Just rage. 15 years. 15 YEARS of tea. Of smiles. Of pretending to love a dying old man. Gone. Because of an orphan. Because of a boy who couldn’t see past her t**s. --- #### THE HATE She hated Richard. For waking up. For choosing them over her. She hated Damien. For being soft. For choosing "love" over power. She hated Freya. For being poor and still winning. For that stupid ring. She hated June. For looking at her like she was nothing. And she hated herself. For getting caught. Victoria wiped her face. Stared at the ceiling. Then she smiled. Sinister. Slow. "Fine," she whispered. "You want war?" "I’ll give you war." --- #### THE PLAN She couldn’t touch Damien directly. He had security now. She couldn’t touch Richard. He had lawyers. She couldn’t touch Freya. That backfired last time. But June? No. Too risky. Then it hit her. Isabella. Isabella was weak. Stupid. And she had an ex-boyfriend. Luke. Victoria remembered him. Met him once at a party. Hands everywhere. Eyes on her jewelry. A man who loved money more than air. Luke proposed to Isabella because her family had 200 million. Not because he loved her. When Isabella got pregnant and broke, he left. Classic. "If I can’t have Damien," Victoria thought, "then I’ll take what he loves. And I’ll use the man who already betrayed Isabella once." --- #### FINDING LUKE Victoria pulled out a burner phone. No trace. Called a contact. "Find me Luke Mwaura. Isabella Cruz’s ex. I need his address. His debts. Everything." 2 hours later: `Luke. 28. Gambling debt: 4.3M. Drives a leased BMW. Works at a car dealership. Lives in Westlands. Alone.` Perfect. Victoria laughed. "He likes material things?" "Then I’ll give him material things." --- #### THE MEETING Next day. 11pm. Underground parking. Luke got in her car. Nervous. "Who are you?" "Someone who can pay your debts," Victoria said. "And make you rich." She slid a folder over. Photos of Damien. Freya. June. Bank statements. Company shares. Luke whistled. "Blackwood, huh?" "You know Isabella," Victoria said. "Her baby daddy isn’t Damien. But we can make people believe it is." Luke frowned. "Why?" "Because I want Damien to suffer," Victoria said. "And because if you help me, I’ll give you 50 million. Cash. And a job at Blackwood Tech. VP position." Luke’s eyes lit up. Money. Status. Revenge on Isabella for dumping him. "What do I have to do?" "Simple," Victoria smiled. "You’re going to be the father. Publicly. DNA test. Press conference. You claim Damien threatened you. You claim Freya knew. We blow up their wedding." Luke leaned back. "And if I say no?" Victoria pulled out her phone. Showed him his gambling debts. His mistress. His DUI from last year. "Then I send this to your boss," she said sweetly. "And you go to jail. Your choice." Luke swallowed. "When do we start?" --- #### VICTORIA'S THOUGHTS Driving home, Victoria felt calm for the first time in days. "They took my home," she thought. "They took my husband. They took my name." "But they can’t take my brain." She looked at herself in the rearview. No makeup. Hair a mess. But her eyes were sharp. "Let them have their little wedding at the orphanage," she thought. "Let them be happy for 5 minutes." "Then Luke steps in. And the whole thing burns." She parked. Went inside. On the wall, she’d written with red marker: THEY WILL PAY. Under it: Damien. Freya. Richard. June. Isabella. She circled Damien’s name. Twice. "First you," she whispered. "Then the rest are easy to control." Outside, Nairobi slept. Inside, Victoria Hale was planning war. And this time, she wasn’t going to lose.
