Demeter
They found Demeter on the porch of the Telesterion, her temple in Eleusis, just northwest of Athens. The goddess, though beautiful as the other Olympians, appeared as an older woman than her niece, Artemis. In her long and flowing brown hair, she wore a crown of small white flowers. In one hand she held a cornucopia, the traditional horn of plenty, with wheat stalks sticking from its end, and in another a torch. She looked almost as if she were posing for a painting.
As before, Thanos was fascinated by seeing the structure as it had been in ancient times, and Demeter responded, once again delaying their mission.
