{Theluun’s POV} [This chapter contains themes of S/A, and assault, reader discretion is advised.] She stood still, hugging her body tightly trying to hide away. She was dressed in a pair of lace black underwear, black stockings with a garter belt, and a see through lace corset. She had a collar on, and broken shackles around her wrists. She shook her head, tears spilling down her cheeks as he turned her towards the pole. “Now dance! This is what you’ll be doing every single night until you pay me back the money your father owes me!” He said, turning and walking back to his chair. “Show me, how you can dance.” She turned to the pole, her eyes looking dark.. devoid of emotion. She gripped it in her hands, as her body trembled. Visions of men coming and leaving as she cried, holding the pole in her hands, unmoving. She began dancing, her body flowing around the pole like water in a river. She was so graceful, so beautiful, but the pain in her eyes couldn’t be hidden no matter how hard she tried. She was miserable, gripped by fear, by anger, her eyes scanning over the many faces that began to fade in the background. The smell of alcohol, the laughter of men, the scent of cigars and cigarettes leaving a thick smog in the air. She looked as though she wasn’t even breathing anymore until screams left her lips, as she dropped to her knees onto the floor, her hair cascading down her back and shoulders. Her fists punching the ground over and over, the thudding of her fists, beginning to be drown out by the laughter of the men in the room. She shook her head, screaming loudly into the air, as she gripped her ears. Tears streamed down her face, and suddenly the whole room faded to black, and she was alone in a dark bedroom. Her clothes draping off her, as she walked to a window, opening it up. You could hear traffic below, far below, as she stood in the windowsill breathing in the night air. She rocked back and forth staring down at the lights from the busy city below. The honking of horns, and the laughter of men and women as they passed below. She reached out into the night, looking towards the moon. “Please..” she whispered. “I can’t do this anymore..” her voice was soft, and broken, I could feel the heaviness in the room. She turned, her eyes meeting mine, as she smiled softly. “I’m sorry..” was all she said, before she fell backwards from the window, her body dropping towards the ground below, then the visions faded, leaving her unconscious body against the ground. We were standing in the forest, but this place, it had changed as a beam of light filtered through the trees. I looked up, seeing us next to the portal to the human realm. I lifted her bridal style in my arms and packed her back towards home, finding NymKarna and Feryn right outside of the tree line. “Theluun.. Arabella!” Feryn shrieked, running to my side and looking towards the unconscious woman in my arms. “Is she okay?” She asked, peering up to me. I shook my head. “I don’t know..” I whispered, pulling her closer to me. “We need to get her to Shitari.. he can heal her, hopefully.” I said, beginning to pack her towards the castle. “It was Andro..” NymKarna said, breaking the silence that had begun to grow around us. “Andro is the one who hurt her.. he’s the reason she ran away.” I kept walking towards the castle, pulling her closer to my chest and breathing in her sweet scent. It calmed me, and I knew I’d need that, or I might kill Andromedus this time. “You stay with Shitari, and Arabella.. I’ll take care of Andromedus.” I said coldly, as we made our way to the front steps of the castle. We walked up, and soon made it inside. I knew Shitari would want her in his office so I began to walk straight there, finding Andromedus watching us from the top of the steps. “I-Is she okay?” He asked, nerves dripping from his voice. I looked up to him, shooting a gaze that would have made a weak man flee. “Why do you care?” Was all I said, before continuing my walk to Shitari’s office. NymKarna opened the door for me, allowing me to walk inside with Arabella still hugged to my chest. I carefully sat her down on the table as Shitari came over with his bag of medical supplies. “Don’t worry Arabella.. you’re going to be okay..” he said, beginning to patch up the many scratches and bruises that littered her body from her time in the forest. I turned on my heel. “I’ll be back..” I sneered, as I began to make my way towards Andromedus’ room, where he was no doubt hiding away. I burst through his door rushing to his side and gripping his shirt, lifting him off the ground and pinning him to the wall. “You just can’t help yourself can you?” I seethe. “You’re so fu***** miserable, that you have to make everyone else around you miserable too! Arabella has had a hard enough life without you going and making everything worse, but you honestly just can’t help it, can you?” I slammed his back and his head into the wall again. “I don’t know what is so wrong with you, that you have to tear down everyone else, but you better fu***** fix it before I fix you myself!” “She’s just a human! She’s here to die anyways, I didn’t mean to upset her, I just didn’t want her food, and I didn’t want her in my room of all places! She’s just a human, she doesn’t have free rein in our home!” He snapped, pushing me back. I rushed him again, gripping his shirt and slamming him against the wall repeatedly. “Fu** you Andro! Your bitter misery is not her fault! You will not take out your frustrations on her ever again, or so help me there will be one less king of the fae, do I make myself clear?” I seethed through gritted teeth. “Fine!” He snapped, pushing me away again. “Just as long as you keep her away from me!” He sneered, turning on his heel and walking back to his desk. “Now leave!” I stared him down before turning to leave, slamming the door closed behind me. I made my way back to Shitari’s office, I looked inside, leaning in the doorway to see Arabella laid completely still on the table. She still hadn’t woken yet, I fought with myself on whether to tell the others of her past.. of the demons that swam in her mind, but I decided to keep it to myself. If she truly wanted them to know.. she’d tell them herself.
