Anger

{Arabella’s POV} I followed Feryn as we made our way into the library. The walls were floor to ceiling with shelves and books, a massive collection spread all around. A lounge area with black and red couches, and a massive fireplace sat in the corner. A staircase split off into two directions, each leading up to more bookshelves. A massive window on the back wall looked out into the garden behind the castle, it was beautiful in here, I could see why Shitari wanted to spend his time in here reading. As we walked in, Shitari turned to look at us. He was sitting at a desk, mixing up some kind of herbs in a jar. “Oh, hello..” he said, turning to us. “Hello Shitari..” I smiled, handing him the plate, with the sandwich on it from my hand. “I made some sandwiches, we’ve already eaten, and I thought you may be hungry.” He looked down at it and smiled. “You thought of me being hungry and made me something to eat? How sweet.” He smirked, lifting it to his lips and taking a bite. “Mmm, it’s delicious.” He smiled, before taking another bite. “Thank you, for making one for me.” I smiled back. “Thank you, for healing me, and being so kind to me.” I said, turning to Feryn. “We’ll leave you alone, I just wanting to bring it to you.” “Thank you Arabella.” He smiled to me, before turning back to his work and eating his sandwich. We left the room, and I followed Feryn to the gym. When we walked in Theluun was beating a punching bag, and grunting. I watched him throw punch after punch, his muscular body glistening with sweat. His shirt was on the floor, and his abs on full display. My face heated up as I looked to Feryn.. I didn’t realize he’d be so.. exposed.” I whispered. “He works out everyday, being the god of the fight, he’s always training and working out to keep in shape.” She said, smiling over to me, and wiggling her eyebrows. I giggled, and turned away from her, my giggles catching the attention of Theluun. “Oh.. hey, what are you two doing here?” He asked, looking over to us, he grabbed a towel, wiping the sweat from his face. I stared in awe, unable to say a word until Feryn nudged me with her arm. “Oh, I um.. I made some lunch.. I thought you may be hungry..” I replied, holding the plate up to him. He looked down at it, before smirking down at me. “Thank you Arabella..” he said, picking up the sandwich and taking a bite. He mo****, as he took a bite, causing my face to heat up all over again. “That’s really good.” He smirked, licking the mayo off his lips. I nodded, setting down his plate and turning to the door. “Glad you like it..” I muttered, looking down to my feet, how was I meant to look him in the eye after that? He walked closer to me, leaning down over me, when I looked up his face was only a few inches away from mine. “Y-Your highness..” I whimpered. He looked down at me, smirking. “If you’re taking requests, I know what I’d like for desert..” he said, his eyes trailing down my body, before flicking back up to my eyes. My whole face heated up as I began stuttering. “Y-Your.. highness.. I-I..” I began, embarrassment coursing through me. “I’m only teasing.” He chuckled, standing up and taking another bite. “Thanks for lunch Arabella.” He smirked. “Y-You’re welcome..” I said as I turned on my heel, rushing from the room and back towards the entryway of the castle. “I don’t like going up to Andromedus’ room.. so I’ll stay down here, but it’s the door at the very top of all of the stairs.” Feryn said smiling over to me. I nodded, hiking up my dress and making my way up the stairs, down the hall, only to find a spiral staircase. I looked up, sighing as I knew this stairwell was going to take a lot out of me. I began my ascent and soon found myself at a large door, it was hanging partially open, and as I walked in I could see Andromedus reading something. I cleared my throat, catching his attention. “What are you doing in here?” He snapped. I walked further in, setting the plate down on his desk before turning and making my way back to the door. “I made lunch.. thought you might be hungry. Sorry your highness, I didn’t mean to intrude, the door was open.” I began walking out of the room, but before I could a shout stopped me in my tracks. “How many times do I have to tell you I don’t want your food! I don’t want you here, you’re nothing but a burden on everyone here, so why don’t you just leave?” He yelled, I heard something fly past my head, but before I could turn away the plate shattered against the wall, a piece breaking off and slicing my cheek. I felt blood begin to flow from it, dripping from my face and onto the floor. I reached up, touching it softly and wincing at the pain. I turned so that way I could see him. When he saw my face, he looked saddened, almost sorry, but before he could say a word I turned. “I’m sorry..” I said, before taking off in a sprint down the staircase. Once I made it down that flight of stairs I ran directly down the hall, down the other stairs, and back into the entryway. I flung open the massive door, staring outside. My thoughts racing, but before I could process what I was thinking, my legs moved, and I sprinted out of the castle, through the gate, and into the forest, the same forest I walked through to get here. I kept running through the woods, past where the portal was only yesterday, and into a darker part of the forest. Trees flew past on my vision, the wooded area becoming more thick, and a dark fog beginning to set in.
