True, I was the last to leave Director Abboth’s office. But how could Director Abboth not have returned after leaving for the showroom? As if he had it all planned out to pin it on me.
The officers were questioning each and every one
that was present at work the whole of the previous day.
Everyone was suspicious. I didn't know whom to trust. I didn't know whom to believe.
Was it Mr Jackson? He was the one that called Director Abboth out. Maybe they had it all planned out together. Or was it Miss Medline? She never liked me that much. Was it Mr Bradpit? We never had clashes but in situations like this, I couldn't trust anyone. Was it Miss Joke or Miss Clara?
We never had issues but we weren't exactly friends.
