Connie glided gracefully into Ryker headquarters building. Last night, she'd had a few bottles of wine and enjoyed a nice night. It took her a lot of restraint to not put a call across to Roland and have him thank her for removing a burden for him. He might not see it yet but one day he was bound to realise what good she did for him. And she didn't even need to lift a finger for it. Stopping briefly at the door, she wore her go-to-smile.
