Natasha ran her hands through her hair and stood still for a moment in the hallway.
Then, a young maid ran up to her, breathless.
“My Lady…….” The maid called.
Natasha turned quickly. “Did you find him?”
“The security footage. He didn’t leave the house. He walked into the kitchen. And... he didn’t come out.” The maid said.
Natasha’s eyes widened. “You’re sure?”
“Yes, my Lady. The Alpha is reviewing it now. He sent me to tell you.” The maid confirmed.
Natasha didn’t wait for more words. She rushed down the hall, past two guards, and straight into the kitchen.
It smelled like cinnamon and flour. Pots were still steaming. The head cook turned when she stormed in.
