In the corner of my mind, there sits a trolley old, From memories that I cherish, its significance I hold, It held so many bags, each one was unique, Tattered and battered, but carrying stories beneath. The very sight of them would bring a smile to my face, Standing there, like soldiers, with poise and grace, They held the joy and laughter, and the anguish and grief, Each piece was an extension, of the owner and their belief. But as time went by, I saw it slowly rotting away, The once-beautiful colours, now faded and gray, The happy memories once contained within, Were now overshadowed, by the rust and metallic din. The trolley lay there unattended, as if no longer loved, Discarded and forgotten, like a hand missing a glove, As I stand there gazing, lost in deep thought, I realise that the trolley is like life, slowly rotting and fraught. But just like the memories once contained within, Life still holds its beauty, despite all the din and din, So let us cherish every moment with love and grace, And like the trolley of old, have stories to tell with pride and pace. 3. And so, we live life, with our hearts open, Loving and caring, with every emotion. For in the end, it's not how long we live, But how much love we give, that helps us thrive.
