Chapter Eight

"We are going to make sure he doesn't succeed, I can't be defeated by a mere mortal , even the ORKINS couldn't defeat me "

Lord Ziffer laughed wickedly and the lady joined too

" Savannah, let me have it "

He said and stretched out his hand to collect some strands of hair from her and dropped it on a crystal glass ball

"Let the party begin"

In the crystal glass ball , Cole could be seen talking to Rogue

"Looks like he found that chameleon" Savannah stated with a snort

Lord Ziffer grinned as he snapped his fingers

"Mortals will always be mortals"

"...No ,I wasn't thinking that "

" Yes, you were"Rogue said as he rolled his big eyes

(My POV:I don't even know why I always imagine Rogue as Pascal in Tangled , lol)

Suddenly the clouds turned dark and bats out of nowhere started attacking them

"Black magic" Rogue said sniffing the air

Watching them from the crystal glass ball, Lord Ziffer and Savannah laughed

"What are we gonna do?"

Cole yelled at Rogue , he couldn't hear a thing but he heard Rogue say something like

Use it

"Use... What?"

"Use the power in you " Rogue as he slipped down Cole's shoulder and ran away

"Traitor" He muttered

The bats weren't there for Rogue anyways but for Cole

Cole shut his eyes and flicked his hand and placed his hands on his two ears to block out the sound the bats were making. He was scared because he didn't know what to do

Then there was a distant resonance

"What is happening ?"

Savannah asked Lord Ziffer as the picture in the crystal glass ball began to glitch

Cole couldn't open his eyes because he was still scared , imagine more than one thousand bats against one person, but he was sure he couldn't hear the sound of the bats anymore

"No!!!" Lord Ziffer screamed as the picture vanished

"That was awesome" Rogue said as he came out of his hiding place

Cole slowly opened his eyes and the clouds weren't dark anymore and the BATS were gone

Good tidings

"Traitor"

Cole muttered as he saw Rogue close to him

"They weren't here for me,duh "

"Huh?"

"Good thing , you make them disappear "

"I did?"

Cole asked rather surprised and confused

" How?"

"With the flick of your fingers ... You have the power in you"

" Oh?"

Then a frown appeared on Rogue's face

" What? I should be the one mad at you for leaving me behind ,well don't worry I forgive you"

" That's not it silly"

He sniffed the air again

" Lord Ziffer knows you are coming for him"

"Oh"
