Emm's P. O. V
I have been hiding from Ashton and his goons at school for the past few days now, especially when I stood him up for our date after knowing the truth. And also because if I get to face him I don't know if I can control myself from smashing his head up which will cause me no good. So it's better to avoid. So did Rik and Lex, though sometimes they snapped I stopped them from doing anything.
"Hey, guys. I have got an idea." Lex started "We can go clubbing. Tonight is perfect. It's Friday."
"I don't feel like it. You guys go. " I replied.
" Why not Emm? We didn't plan anything for your birthday tomorrow because you asked us not to for this stupid Ashton and his 'bet' thing that happened a few days ago. But we are not holding ourselves back from celebrating our best friend's birthday in our own way. So we are going. " Lex reasoned with me.
" Emm. It's okay. You deserve to have some fun in your life. We all do. Nothing is wrong with that. And what happened with Ashton was not your fault. Trust me. " Rik said this time.
"Ughh.. Okay. What time? " I couldn't finish.
"Yeaaaaa... At last. Thanks, Emm, and love you, Rik." Lex screamed in joy and suddenly stunned at her own words.
A few seconds later we found ourselves laughing out hard at what she said. I always knew that Lex has something special for Rik but she always denied whenever I tried to confront her. And Rik, that dumbass, was totally oblivious of the fact. As usual.

Rik and Lex will be picking me up any time soon. I stood in front of the mirror and checked myself. I wore a skinny black leather pant, green full sleeves 'V' neck casual tee and to complete the look I added a jacket and wore my boots. Perfect. I put on a little makeup and let my hair fall down without bothering to tie them. I am 'party ready'. You see, dresses are so not my style.
As soon as I heard a car stopped with a screech in front of our house, I went downstairs.
" Mom, I am going out with Lex and Rik. I might be late. " I informed her.
"No. Try not to be late. And you are looking gorgeous. Take care of yourself. " Mom kissed me goodbye and I jumped into the car and we headed towards our destination.
"Hey, Lex. Girls will be falling head over heels for someone today. " I intentionally said that winking at both of them. I saw Rik blush for a second.
" Yeah. That's what he wants. Doesn't he?" Lex replied eyeing at Rik.
"That means you are also falling for me??? Awww... " Rik being Rik started his drama.
"Yes, we would if we didn't know how annoying you can be sometimes. So a big NO to you. Right, Lex? " I said knowingly but Lex didn't reply.
At last, we found ourselves in the club as we settled ourselves on the four-seater sitting area at one of the corners. We ordered shots. A lot and a lot of shots. We are so getting ourselves drunk tonight.
We moved ourselves along with the crazy music, we drank, we talked, we pulled each other's legs, we were having fun.
" I think you owe me, Rik. My premonition is going to be true. Look over your shoulder. " I said as I noticed that some she-wolves were drooling over Rik.
"Oh, I can't wait to see him finding his mate the instant while surrounded by other bitches. What fun it would be to see Rik being torn apart by his mate. What do you say, Emm? " Lex replied as she witnessed the sight.
But I couldn't concentrate on her words then. Cause amidst this crowd I already caught an eye looking into mine. A pair of crystal blue eyes. Ashton. I have to run.
"Umm.. Lex.. I am going to the washroom. " I informed her and excused myself to quickly run out of that gaze.
But before I could reach the washroom, a strong hand grabbed me by my waist at the corridor. I quickly turned back only to see those blue eyes.
"Ashton" I muttered under my breath.
" You promised me a date, beautiful. And you never showed up. " Ashton complained pretending to be a bloody naive.
Oh, my goddess. Look at him. How good of an actor he is. My blood already started to boil inside me. " Cause you never told me about your cute little bet, dear. " I blurted out in anger making him stunned. "What happened, baby? Did you have to give away the money? Oh, I see, you couldn't win the trophy. That's why my baby is sad. " I mocked him further and saw his blue turned into black with anger. In an instant he grabbed me by the back of my neck and pushed me to the wall making my back to face him and then he leaned down to my side and said into my ears " You b***h. You'll pay for what you did. "
But you see, the problem is that I'm not some girly girl to tolerate this. I quickly hit him hard on his ribs with my elbow to get myself enough time to turn around and kick his balls. Soon he fell on his knees grabbing his manhood in pain.
"Yes, I am the b***h you can never afford to mess with. " After saying this I was about to go to my group but his goons came out of nowhere and blocked my way. Maybe he mind linked them. Yes, Ashton is a werewolf too but from another pack.
Oh, this is going to be fun now. Though I didn't shift yet I am strong even without my wolf. The benefits of pack training you know. So, Hell ya!! I'm so ready to show them where they belong. So I lured them outside, into the back lane of the building and stopped on my track. I turned around to face them.
"Let me see what you got" I spat at them.
"Oh, we will definitely show you, baby. We will even let you taste us. Don't be that impatient." One of his goons replied and came closer.
But as soon as he came within my reach I spun myself and kicked him hard on the head so he is saying 'Hello' to the ground now.
I gave them a challenging stare and now I am busy. You know what I mean.
