Silas gathered the used plates and utensils and washed them in the small stream at the back of the cavern. He then replaced the items back up onto the shelf.
Cellie laid back on top of the brown fur covering the bed, enjoying the sensation of the silky mane cushioning her flesh. She closed her eyes and just treasured the peaceful moment.
It wasn't long before Silas carefully crawled on top of Cellie. His face hovering just above hers. His warm breath fanning her flesh as his nose softly brushed against hers.
Cellie slightly lifted herself up from the fur and pressed her small mouth against Silas's.
As she went to pull away Silas slid his hand to the back of her neck and deepened the kiss. He nipped at her bottom lip asking for permission to enter.
Cellie opened her mouth minutely and Silas slid his tongue behind her teeth, he danced through her mouth, tasting every inch he could before he released her head gently back down to the bed.
Cellie felt as the heat started to swell up inside her and she pulled Silas down and buried her teeth against his neck, not breaking the skin.
Silas quivered within her hold and quietly groaned into the safety of her chest.
Cellie smirked and left a trail of heat down from his neck to his collar bone.
"Cellieeee...."
Silas growled her name with a deep saturated rasp.
"You need to slow down...this isn't a good time..to..."
She bit hard into Silas's collar bone, marking him.
The hunger was swallowing him, as he skated his hands over her breasts and down her sides. His giant hands found her hips and he curled his fingers against the fabric separating their bodies, garnering a firm hold.
She smirked and slowly licked the trickle of blood crying down his chest.
It took every once of strength he had but Silas ripped himself from Cellie's hold and landed roughly against the floor.
Cellie, perplexed sits up and gives him a irritated gaze.
"First off...you marked me."
Silas wasn't angry, more surprised, She had to eventually, he even found quite a large amount of pleasure in the act, making it all the more difficult to pull away.
"Second, you will conceive if we continue tonight."
Cellie's knitted brow relaxed to a neutral position.
"I'm sorry Si, I got carried away. I don't know what came over me but when my lips landed on the spot I felt a deep, inescapable need to leave my mark. I wasn't even intending on taking it as far as I did, I just couldn't stop."
Silas crawls his way back to the bed and sits down next to her.
"You don't need to be sorry, it just makes it easier for us connect with one another. You wanna see?"
Cellie wasn't entirely sure what he meant, but she replied with a soft nod.
"You definitely keep me on my toes little one."
Cellie's eyes widened when realizing Silas's voice wasn't exiting his lips but instead was echoing through her mind. She focused deeply on the words she wanted to say, the letters swam around in her head until they settled creating a depiction of her reply. With a hard mental shove the sentence disintegrated into tiny fragments bouncing between her atoms and nerves.
"This is insane, How is this possible?'"
Silas turned towards Cellie a gaze of terror mixed with confusion devoured his features.
He placed his hands on Cellie's cheeks and was utterly speechless for a moment.
"You...are not supposed to be able to do that. I can speak to you because I'm a wolf, I've never heard of an elf being able to mind link. At least not a typical one."
Cellie turns her doe eyes to Silas, lines of worry taking form on her face
"Does that mean something is wrong with me."
Silas laughs lightly and pulls her into a comforting embrace.
"Not at all, it just means maybe there is more to your story than even you're aware of. Just let me know if you start experiencing times where you feel irrationally irritated or angered for either no reason at all or a reason that normally wouldn't bother you."
Cellie nodded and relaxed against Silas. While he absentmindedly twists her curls around his finger, he mind links with Terrin.
"Terrin, I need you to send a pack member to the Elite High Council library. Have them look back into the names and histories of the wards taken into the Elven city bordering our territory. If they find anything on their Luna, please direct them to pull that thread as much as they can, even if the text seems odd. She needs some questions answered."
Silas turned his gaze to Cellie curled up in his arms, she looked so small, so fragile. He moved his hand from her hair and rested it on her arm, his thumb drawing delicate circles against her flesh as Terrin responds.
"Yes, Alpha. If we find anything do you want us to come to you or the Luna with it?"
"Me, I don't need her worrying about anything that isn't fact checked first."
"Understood."
Silas then let his mind turn it's attention back to his mate in his arms. There wasn't enough time in the day, in his life even to satiate his need to be with her. His thoughts floated to the ring behind the wash basin.
But technically she is married to Alarick. Although, I have no doubt that marriage could be dissolved rather easily with a request upon the Elite High Courts, heck they might even take him to trial for his misdeeds upon her. Elves may be gentle with their own kind but the ones that sit with Lycan kind ruling the Court over all supernatural life seem to be more understanding and accepting of my kinds needs. As well as, harsh against their own when needed.
Silas's words bounced around in his skull, he knew what his heart and soul desired, he could feel it everytime she looked at him, her eyes glowing with an affectionate glance. He was ready to make her his under the eyes of the law.
"Gods Silas, just f*****g do it. Stop being so bound up in your own head."
Silas rolled his eyes at Garret and made his decision.
"Cellie, I need to wash my hands real quick."
Cellie sighs and pulls herself from him.
Silas makes his way to the wash basin, rinsing his hands in the water and splashing the refreshing liquid on his face, attempting to temper the heat rising to his cheeks. He slyly retrieves the ring, and silently closes the wooden box.
He walks back towards Cellie locking on to her brilliant burgundy eyes. He kneels down in front of her, leaving Cellie with a look of curiosity overtaking her features.
"Celendria, I know I'm not who you ever imagined would be asking you this. But, I can promise I will always be here to fight for you, and give you the experiences and adventures you've always craved. I will never let you feel trapped within our home. Just as long as I can stay by your side everywhere your life leads you."
Silas opens his palm before Cellie's gaze, his mother's rings shimmering under the flickering torch light.
"Will you do me the immense honor of being the person I irrevocably hand my life and all it offers to? Little one, will you marry me?"
Tears ignite a glimmer in Cellie's eyes as she peers up at Silas. In that moment she couldn't imagine spending her life with anyone else.
"Yes, Silas, I will gladly accept your offer."
Her voice was quiet and as steady as she could muster.
Silas slid the ring onto her finger and pulled her to him, laying a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Forever and after, Little one."
