(Third POV)
"See kanji? The views awesome right?!"
"Whoa....it's so pretty! What is it called?"
The young child looked at her strangely. He raised his eyebrow in confusion. He was Perplexed that she didn't know what the sunset was.
"You've never seen the sunset before?"
The little girl shook her head and then tilted it.
"Sunset? What's that?"
The boy smiled at her and then giggled.
"It's when the sun goes down and then moon comes out. During the time the sun goes down it creates a beautiful spin of colors that shines down on us allowing us to enjoy this view before nighttime comes!"
The girl formed an O shape with her mouth at his explanation. She then turned and looked at him.
"Kuran?"
The young boy smiled and then laughed.
"Kanji, I've told you stop calling me by my last name!"
She giggled and then looked at the sunset.
"But that's what I'll be referred to as in the future no? Mrs. Kuran?"
The boy blushed and then looked away from the sunset and at her with wide eyes.
"K-kanji! Cut it out!"
"Why? We've already agreed when we're older we'll get married right? You said marriage is what two people who love each other do when they are adults! Well then, I love you, Kuran!"
She looked at him and smiled. He felt himself grow shy and looked away mumbling his response.
"Yeah....I love you too...."
She giggled and then they heard their parents call them. She saw them young boy's mother come to pick him up and waved goodbye before she left with her father. Her father lifted her up and smiled before speaking.
"What did you two talk about my dear?"
The young girl immediately chirped out her response almost causing her father to fall from shock.
"Marriage!"
"I-I'm sorry? Whose marriage?"
She giggled and lightly pinched her father's cheek.
"Me and Kuran's!"
Her father looked away thinking about how he and Kuran's mother would talk about her son and how he taught his daughter a strange thing.
"Honey marriage is for when your older like me and mommy. For now how about we focus on your abilities and when they'll manifest yes?"
The young girl pouted and shook her head.
"I wanna get married now!"
The man sighed and then looked away from his daughter and at his wife who seemed to find the whole ordeal hilarious.
"Honey!"
His wife only laughed harder at him when he whined her name.
"You've got this love!"
She lost it at his 'do not patronize me' face. She then walked over to her daughter and picked her up. She smiled and then whispered something to her. Soon she had let go the topic of marriage started to speak on her abilities.
"So then does that mean when my powers manifest, I'll be like dad?"
Her parents nodded and then they all sat down on the porch laughing and having a good time.
Then a voice spoke one she recognized but didn't.
"Wake up"
"What? why? I wanna stay with mom and dad!"
"You have to wake up!"
She shook her head and then turned around. She was met with darkness and started screaming for her parents.

The scene soon changed into one she didn't recognize. The world was burning. Bloody bodies everywhere. Some mangled. A few spread out. A leg to her right. An arm to her left. And a dirty severed head swollen with strange marks and bumps shoved on a stick for all to see.
"W-What is this?"
She looked around horrified by the vivid dark images that haunted her. As she shakily walked through the nauseating no longer beautifully paved roads.
"You bastard. HOW COULD YOU!?"
She froze as she saw a woman glaring at her through the fog. She shook her head in fear that the woman would harm her believing she caused this.
"N-No... I-I didn't...I-I-"
Something from the corner caught her eye. The familiar bracelet she had once given to her father now laid in front of her attached to a body with an unrecognizable face.
"Oh no no no... N-No. Please NO!"
She looked at the body and tears fell on their own as she knew who the disfigured corpse belonged to. She suddenly heard a sword being unsheathed. When she turned around the woman from before was holding a long black and gold sword. Her heart rate began to speed up and her head shook with fear as she repeated the same line over and over.
"I didn't do this. Please. Believe me! I didn't do this. It wasn't me!"
The woman continued walking towards kanji almost as if she didn't hear her pleas and cries. Kanji prepared herself for the worst. Not able to believe she would die for something she didn't even cause.
"I loved you like a brother. Yet you betrayed me. YOU BETRAYED HIM!"
Kanji looked at the woman confused.
'Love me like a brother? What-'
Kanji realized the woman wasn't looking at her. If anything, she couldn't see her. Which also meant she couldn't hear her. Kanji slowly turned around to see a man standing there covered in blood holding a sword. His head was down, and his stance was almost of someone who was ready to be impaled. He looked as if he had given up. Kanji stepped back a bit so that both were in her line of sight.
"Thats who she was talking to...but why would he do this?"
"I did what needed to be done-"
"YOU DID THIS FOR YOURSELF!"
Kanji frowned a bit. The voice of the woman sounded very familiar as well.
"She kind of sounds like-"
"I told you. Everything belongs to me. This world. That throne. And you as well. Princess Hayashi."
Kanji looked at the man like he was crazy. She was baffled at how he could utter such treacherous words with a straight face.
"Princess?! Is he on drugs?! Saying that is high treason! There hasn't been a princess in over a thousand years!"
One moment the woman was standing ten feet away from him. The next she was in front of him trying to s***h him with her sword. He blocked it and they struggled for dominance over the fight. Kanji stood back a bit further to avoid getting hit but wind still reached her from the impact of their words. The woman then spoke before the image became distorted again.
"Adien Claw Martinez. LET THIS MARK THE END OF GOLDEN HOUR. AND MAY THIS DAY BE REMEMBERED AS YOUR EXECUTION!"
Kanji tried to once again speak but everything went dark as she fell into an unknown dimmed space. The last thing she saw was the woman attacking mid swing before the darkness consumed her.
