CHAPTER 14 Raiden's head pounded, his stomach clenching violently. He lay curled up on the floor in the foetal position, his shackled wrists pushed into his chin so his fingers could press down on his ears. But still he could hear the white noise. It permeated everything. He could even feel its vibrations across the floor, the floor which had no real feeling to it, it felt the same as everything else in this room, as if it was made on nothingness, neither hot nor cold.
