Maya lay still, breathing slowly, savouring his scent and his taste upon her lips. For just the briefest moment she thought her mind had played the cruelest trick. Her fingers twitched, relishing in the invisible sparks as she traced the contours she had once known by heart. He had changed a little in the last three years.
Hard work had further sculpted his muscles, and he had new scars, some she could identify, others she could only guess as to what had caused them. She enjoyed discovering his every minor alteration, drinking him in as she explored his body in the same thorough manner he studied hers.
