It's a week later, I'm on my way to school. I decided to walk because I needed the fresh air.
I got hours of sleep and I made a quick stop for some coffee just for an extra boost because today was the state test and I had to make sure I was ready.
About 10 minutes later I was here. I walked into the building and went to drop my phone off in my locker and then I took all of my books and placed them in my bag.
"Gia!" I looked up and Maya was poking her head out of her classroom and waving in my direction. "Good luck!" She yelled again.
"You too!"
I slammed my locker shut and turned to go upstairs to my class. When I got to class I sat in the back and pulled out my books so I can study a little more before the test started. I had a bad habit of forgetting to study the night before.
