Claudia walked alone in the middle of the street, lost in thoughts. The scenes of Elliot saving her replayed in her head, making her heart skip a beat.
"What's wrong with me?" Claudia groaned in frustration as the men she hired to kill Elliot blocked her path, interrupting her thoughts.
She looked at them nervously before smiling devilishly, which made them a little scared.
"Boss, why didn't you just let us kill him?" one of them asked.
"You see, I couldn't just let you kill him," Claudia started while pacing around as they listened quietly.
"If I had let you guys kill him, I would have definitely been suspected," Claudia explained as they stared at her, confused.
