Damien didn't want to leave. He realized he had missed her even more than he had originally thought he did. And after their conversation earlier in the day, he felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He tried convincing her to stay, and after refusing for while because of her siblings, he had come up with two ideas: that she should call Nina for help or he will call his sister to take care of them in her absence, or she should trust her teenage sister to take care of the rest of her siblings.
