Kira and Trevor spent the next few hours interviewing Raymond Stirling’s household staff in the sitting room. Kira had managed to convince him it was a routine procedure, meant to eliminate suspects. She doubted he believed her, but he still gave his reluctant blessing. Despite his urgent concern about the missing brooch, he seemed reluctant to believe anyone he knew was in on the disappearance.
