-Christian POV-
“What is that?” River asks.
“Sounds like fighting.” I say. I quickly get up.
“Wait here.” I say to River and rush out of the front door.
Outside, the noises coming from inside the woods. I rush in and in less than a minute, I find four werewolves in their wolf form fighting three vampires. But these vampires smell different. They don’t smell right and their complexion is sickly looking.
One of the werewolves is a black one that is bigger than the rest. I smell the air to find their scent.
‘Jace’s pack.’ Cyprian says.
They easily eliminate the vampires but they look tired. They shift and take deep breaths. The black wolf shifts into Niel, one of Jace's pack members and of beta blood.
“What happened?” I ask.
