As they drove home, Elizabeth marveled at what she had realized. She had purposely crashed the car because Charlotte was in the front, thinking it would cause her harm. Even though her plan did not work, she figured something else out: Liam was in love with Charlotte. That was something she could use against her.
Chase held Charlotte as he led her into the house. "Are you good?" he asked, his voice filled with concern. "You looked pretty shaken."
