Mia walked into the office with a steaming cup of coffee in her hand, stopping abruptly when she saw Liam sitting at Cat's desk.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, walking towards him. "Cat's not going to like it," she added.
"Cat's not here," Liam replied, watching her closely. Mia suddenly remembered that Cat was in the hospital.
"I totally forgot about that," she said, rubbing her forehead. Liam chuckled.
"So what? You're the new Cat now? Mia asked with a smirk.
"Something like that," Liam said, smiling.
"I should go see her again," Mia said thoughtfully. "Since you're kind of like the new boss, can I go?" she asked.
"I'm not the new boss," Liam chuckled. "Can I have that?" he asked, pointing to the coffee.
"It's not yours," Mia replied.
