Charlotte couldn't get her meeting with Mia out of her head; it bothered her all day as she wondered what Mia was up to.
"What's on your mind?" Chase asked in the car on their way home.
"Nothing, I'm just tired," Charlotte replied. She wondered how she would get Chase to give her the money Mia requested.
Chase was concerned about Charlotte; he knew something was wrong, but she wouldn't tell him.
"Chase, can I ask you for a favor?" Charlotte asked, sitting on their bed.
